경험식에 기반한 폭발 해석방법은 폭압-시간 이력곡선을 하중으로 적용하여 해석하는 방법이다. 이 방법은 모델링이 간단하고 해석시간이 짧아 효율적이지만, 일부 연구에 따르면 근거리 폭발 해석에는 적합하지 않음이 보고되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 예로써 환산거리 0.4~1.0의 근거리 폭발조건에 있는 RC 보에 대해 해석방법에 따른 결과의 차이 및 원인을 분석하였고, 이를 통해 경험식 방법을 이용한 해석의 적용 범위를 구체적으로 검토 및 확인할 수 있었다. 사용된 유한요소해석 프로그램은 LS-DYNA이다. 해석결과에 따르면, 원거리 폭발 실험 데이터를 근거로 하는 경험식 해석방법은 충격량을 과소평가하고 있었다. 이로 인해 RC 보의 처짐은 측정된 처짐 또는 ALE(Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian) 해석결과에 비해 작게 계산되었다. 구조체의 응답이 크게 나타나는 근거리 폭발에 대해서는 ALE 해석방법을 사용하는 것이 더 적합할 것으로 사료된다.

Effect of Alkaline Activator and Curing Condition on the Compressive Strength of Cementless Fly Ash Based Alkali-Activated Mortar

This study investigates the effects of alkaline activator and curing method on the compressive strength of mortar for the development of cementless alkali-activated concrete using 100% of fly ash as binder. Results reveal that alkali-activated mortar with compressive strength of 70MPa at age 28 days can be fabricated in case of performing atmospheric curing after curing at 60°C during 48 hours when using alkaline activator made of NaOH of 9M and sodium silicate with proportions of 1:1.

Development of a Hydrograph Triggered by Earth-Dam-Break for Compiling a Flood Hazard Map

홍수위험지도를 작성하기 위하여 수치모형을 이용한 잠재적 피해 대상 지역 파악이 선행되어야 한다. 댐 붕괴로 인하여 빚어지는 홍수위험지도 작성에서도 시나리오 별로 댐 붕괴를 모의하기 위한 댐 붕괴 수치 모의가 필요하다. 댐 붕괴 시 첨두 유량은 결정 인자인 댐 붕괴(breach)나 저수지의 수량과 댐 붕괴 형성 및 진행에 민감하므로 이런 요소를 포함하는 물리적 모형이 필요하다. 댐 붕괴 메커니즘과 수리학적 현상이 모든 댐 붕괴에 같다고 가정하고 하나의 물리적 댐 붕괴 수치 모형을 구축하였다. 댐 붕괴지점에서 수문곡선을 추정하는데 초점을 두어 댐 하류의 하도 추적 시 상류부의 경계조건 역할을 하도록 하는 것이며, 연구에서 하류부의 하도 추적은 다루지 않았다. 물리적 모형은 댐 붕괴 형성과정에 필요한 역할과 댐 붕괴를 통한 흐름의 수리학적 설명을 담고 있다. 2008년 중국의 장지산(Tangjishan) 댐 붕괴 시 관측된 현장 자료를 이용하여 모형의 수행능력을 검정하였다. 모의 결과는 만족할만한 수준의 정확도를 가지는 것으로 나타났으며 결정계수는 0.974, NSC는 0.94, RMSE는 $610m^3/sec$ 정도로 나타났다. 이로 미루어보아 연구에서 구축된 댐 붕괴 모형은 실제 댐 붕괴 관측 자료를 현실적으로 잘 재현해내는 것으로 확인되었으며, 댐 붕괴로 인한 홍수위험지도 구축 시 상류부 경계조건으로서 활용성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. In compiling flood hazard maps for the case of dam-failure, a scenario-based numerical modeling approach is commonly used, involving the modeling of important parameters that capture peak discharge, such as breach formation and progress. In this study, an earth-dam-break model is constructed assuming an identical mechanism and hydraulic process for all dam-break processes. A focus of the analysis is estimation of the hydrograph at the outlet as a function of time. The constructed hydrograph then serves as an upper boundary condition in running the flood routing model downstream, although flood routing is not considered here. Validation was performed using the record of the Tangjishan dam-break in China. The results were satisfactory, with a coefficient of determination of 0.974, Nash-Sutcliffe Coefficient of Efficiency (NSC) of 0.94, and Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) of $610m^3/sec$. The proposed model will contribute to assessments of potential flood hazards caused by dam-break.

Shrinkage Properties of High Performance Concrete Incorporating Mineral Admixtures

Generally, high performance concrete has characteristics such as low water-cementitious material ratio, lots of unit binder powder, thus the drying shrinkage and autogenous shrinkage are tend to be increased. And the mineral admixtures such as fly ash, blast furnace slag, and silica fume have been applied extensively in view of the improvement of workability, reduction of heat of hydration, qualities and economic in the high performance concrete. Howerver, few studies have been systematically investigated on the drying shrinkage and autogenous shrinkage of high performance concrete using mineral admixtures. Therefore, we investigated the properties of drying shrinkage and autogenous shrinkage of high performance concrete incorporating mineral admixtures. Test results showed that fly ash increased the drying shrinkage, but blast furnace slag and silica fume had not effects on the drying shrinkage. And fly ash decreased the autogenous shrinkage but blast furance slag and silica fume increased the autogenous shrinkage.

Influence of Measurements of Lathe Scrap on the Characteristics of Fiber Reinforced Cementitious Composites

It should be noted that the use of the lathe scrap for making fiber reinforced cementitious composites(FRCCs) raised friendly environmental effect as well as economy because the lathe scrap is a by-product of steel manufactures and is occurred when lathe and milling works of them are conducted to process steel manufactures. Thus, the purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of measurements of lathe scrap on the characteristics of FRCCs. For this purpose, various lathe scraps were collected from processing plants of metal, and then these were processed 10mm, 20mm, and 40mm in lengths for 2mm and 4mm in widths, respectively. FRCCs containing lathe scraps were made according to their widths and lengths, and then characteristics such as the workability, compressive strength, and flexural strength of those were evaluated. As a result, it was observed from the test results that the optimum measurements of the lathe scrap for manufacturing FRCCs was 2mm in width and 40mm in length.

외피 구조로서의 강박스와 내부의 철근콘크리트 슬래브로 구성되는 양개형 방폭문은 방호 및 대피 구조물의 출입구에 설치되는 구조체이다. 방폭문과 그 후면의 벽체 사이에는 일정의 설치 간격이 존재하게 되는데, 이로 인한 지지조건 및 구조거동의 변화는 방폭 해석 및 설계에 적절히 고려되지 않고 있다. 본 연구에서는 설치 간격에 의한 지지조건 및 폭압의 변화에 따른 방폭문의 구조응답 및 파괴거동을 유한요소 해석방법으로 비교·분석하였다. 해석 결과에 따르면, 설치 간격 및 폭압의 변화는 방폭문의 최대 처짐 및 영구 처짐과 같은 처짐 거동에 영향을 미치며, 설치 간격이 크고 작음에 따라 방폭문과 벽체의 충돌 접촉 정도 및 이에 의한 충격력이 크게 변화하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 방폭문에 작용하는 이와 같은 충격력의 변화는 슬래브의 전단파괴와 같은 파괴거동에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인으로 분석되었다. 설치간격 10mm 미만의 방폭문은 전단파괴에 취약해지고, 15mm 내외 수준인 경우가 휨성능 발현에 비교적 더 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 설치 간격 및 폭압과 같이 기본적인 조건의 변화에 한해서 비교 해석을 하였다. 향후, 부재 재원 및 강도변화, 전단설계 여부 등 다양한 변수에 따른 구조거동 변화에 대해 실험적 및 해석적 연구가 필요하다.
