While several well-established quality control (QC) tools are available for short reads sequencing data, there is a general paucity of computational tools that provide long read metrics in a fast and comprehensive manner across all major sequencing platforms (such as PacBio, Oxford Nanopore, Illumina Complete Long Read) and data formats (such as ONT POD5, FAST5, basecall summary files and PacBio unaligned BAM). Additionally, none of the current tools provide support for summarizing Oxford Nanopore basecall signal or comprehensive base modification (methylation) information from genomic data. Furthermore, nowadays a single PromethION flowcell on the Oxford Nanopore platform can generate terabytes of signal data, which cannot be handled by existing tools designed for small-scale flowcells. To address these challenges, here we present LongReadSum, a multi-threaded C++ tool which provides fast and comprehensive QC reports on all major aspects of sequencing data (such as read, base, base quality, alignment, and base modification metrics) and produce basecalling signal intensity information from the Oxford Nanopore platform. We demonstrate use cases to analyze cDNA sequencing, direct mRNA sequencing, reduced representation methylation sequencing (RRMS) through adaptive sequencing, as well as whole genome sequencing (WGS) data using diverse long-read platforms.
The paper focuses on the actual problem of development of methods and tools for processes simulation and software engineering. Authors developed software that lets automate the whole process starting with the processes formalization, business processes and decision making processes dynamic models development, carrying out simulation experiments with the models, bottlenecks analysis, process re-engineering and optimization, and finishing with software engineering, which includes database and software modules generation. During research many available CASE tools were studied, analysed and searched for disadvantages. Particularly, most of the tools lacked structural and object-oriented approaches integration and design process intelligence, i.e. no interaction between various kinds of UML diagrams. Keeping in mind these factors and considering small performance on complicated systems analysis utilizing simulation modeling a distributed intelligent multi-agent resource conversion processes based CASE tool was engineered.
On the basis of the new theory of vehicle track coupling dynamics, the model of locomotive track spatially coupled dynamics is set up in this paper from the point of view of systems engineering, and the computer simulation software is compiled accordingly. Simulation results and experiment results are compared in detail and good correlation between simulation and experiment are obtained. Therefore, it could be concluded that the model and the simulation software are correct and reliable, which can be used to analyze the dynamic interactions between locomotives and tracks,and also be applied to predict and evaludte dynamics performances of locomotives.
On the basis of brief introduction of principle on raising speed weakening magnetic field and its problems, the thesis prints out a new nethod weakening leakage flux and has a comparison with weakening field in compound permanent magnet rotor. The thesis emphasizes the principle and research progress of the new method.
Hybrid robot combines the advantages of serial and parallel structure and has the characteristics of large workspace, agile kinesis, good stiffness, compact structure, good kinematic performance and so on. To conduct the research on the performance of hybrid robot, this dissertation develop an experimental system based on the new 3-TPS hybrid robot which is develop by the research institute of advance manufacturing technology and automation in Northeast University to drive the robot and examine the operational position, and it is also applied in the demarcate experimental of 3-TPS hybrid robot. Through the application, it draws a conclusion that the experimental system has the characteristics of simple structure, good function, good compliance, simply to operate, high reliability and low cost. Consequently, it has high value of popularization and application to conduct the experiment and research on hybrid robot.
