A Modified Selected Map ping Technique to Reduce the Peak-to-Average Power Ratio of OFDM Signal

In this paper, we propose a modified selected mapping technique to reduce the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system. In this technique, we choose a vector with low PAPR in each coset of a linear block codes as its coset leader, instead of the weight vector in conventional technique. And a sequence which is most likely to yield the lowest PAPR is chosen to transmit before IFFT by a decision algorithm. Simulation results show that the modified technique has good performance in PAPR reduction.

Image annotation is always an easy task for humans but a tough task for machines. Inspired by human's thinking mode, there is an assumption that the computer has double systems. Each of the systems can handle the task individually and in parallel. In this paper, we introduce a new hierarchical model for image annotation, based on constructing a novel, hierarchical tree, which consists of exploring the relationships between the labels and the features used, and dividing labels into several hierarchies for efficient and accurate labeling.

Broadcast signal coverage drive test system based on SNMP protocol

With the rapid development of modern information technology and communications industry, traditional broadcasting is experiencing this reform following digitization, networking, and mobile portability. Therefore, ensuring the coverage and stability of wireless broadcast signals is one of the keys to the reform of terrestrial digital broadcasting signals. Therefore, the measured data provided by the coverage test of wireless broadcast signals has important reference value for its coverage planning, implementation and post-maintenance. It plays an important role in the horizontal and vertical development of wireless broadcasting. The drive test is an important way used to test the quality of broadcast signals and plays a very important role in the optimization of wireless networks. This article introduces a transmission test system based on SNMP protocol and programed by Java. It can quickly measure FM signal field strength, multipath and other information, and combine these values with an external GPS to save the values to the local text file. The broadcast signal audio is downloaded and saved to the local disk. The whole DT system operates simply and the power consumption is low. It also has the characteristics that the DT system has small volume, and is very friendly to drive testers.

The Effect of Psychological Capital and Organizational Support on Innovational Behavior and Silence Behavior of Technical Innovation Personnel in Strategic Emerging Industry

Chinese strategic emerging industry has been developed rapidly in recent years. As the important guarantee and intellectual support required in the development of this kind industry, enterprise technology innovation talents have become the most significant strength to promote the enterprise technology and industry progress. Therefore, how to guide and motivate their creativity ability at the most extent has come to be a vital scientific question. In order to search for the improvement path to such employees’ innovation ability, the current study mainly investigated the effect of both psychological capital and organizational support on innovation and silence behavior within technical innovation personnel. Through the regression analysis of 350 questionnaires, our results showed that both psychological capital and organizational support had worthy negative effect on their silence behavior and positive effect on their innovation behavior, respectively; meanwhile, psychological capital and organizational support showed interaction effect to both innovation and silence behavior within technical innovation personnel. According to our results, in order to better motivate employees’ innovation ability, corporations should take supportive policies and improve employees’ psychological capital.

Fault-tolerant Synchronization Control for Markovian Switching Complex Dynamical Networks with Stochastic Perturbations and Nonlinearly Time-varying Delayed Interactions

In this study, the fault-tolerant exponential synchronization control is researched for the multi-manipulator system which is characterized by the large number of interconnected manipulators, the stochastic perturbations and the nonlinearly time-varying delayed interactions. After abstracting the corresponding mathematical complex dynamical network model from the system, an effective controller is designed with some definitions, assumptions and lemmas. Particularly, based on the linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), Ito's formula and the Lyapunov stability theory, the controlled network model is proved to be stochastically synchronous under the actuator failure by constructing a switching stochastic Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and some sufficient conditions for the mean square exponential synchronization are derived. A numerical example is illustrated for the further verifications and conclusions.

A combination of DCT-based and SVD-based watermarking scheme

Digital watermark has been proposed as a solution to the problem of copyright protection of multimedia documents in networked environments. There are two important issues that watermarking algorithms need to address. First, watermarking schemes are required to provide trustworthy evidence for protecting rightful ownership. Second, good watermarking schemes should satisfy the requirement of robustness and resist distortions due to common image manipulations (such as filtering, compression, cropping, rotation, etc.). In this paper, we propose a new watermarking algorithm which combines both merits of the algorithm based on discrete cosine transform (DCT) and the algorithm based on singular value decomposition (SVD), experimental results show that the new watermarking scheme is more robust than the SVD method.
