Objetive: To evaluate the effect of administration of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs Indometacin on the healing of mandibular fracture.Methods: A total of 20 SD rats were randomly divided into two groups.An imcomplete osteotomy of the bilateral mandible were performed and either indometacin or normal saline was administered for five days.The animals were sacrificed and histomorphometric and immunohistochemical evaluation were performed at 6,8,11,15 and 22 days after creation of the fractures.Results: Rusults showed that compared to that of the control group,numbers of inflammatory cells were decreased,the formation of bone trabeculae was delayed,and the expression of total collagen was reduced in the experimental group.Conclusion: Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs Indometacin can delay early mandibular fracture healing by inhibiting of COX-2 signal pathway.
We propose a nonparametric imputation procedure for data with missing val ues and establish empirical likelihood based inference for parameters defined by general estimating equations. The imputation is carried out multiple times via a nonparamet ric estimator of the conditional distribution of the missing component given the always observable component of the random vector under study. The empirical likelihood is used to construct a profile likelihood for the parameter of interest. We demonstrate that the proposed nonparametric imputation can correct the selection bias in the missingness and empirical likelihood leads to more efficient parameter estimation. The proposed method is evaluated by simulation and an empirical study on the relationship between eye weight and gene transcriptional abundance of recombinant inbred mice.
Objective To investigate the gene expression of human papillomavirus(HPV)16/18 E_7 in urine cast-off cells of transitional cell bladder cancer.Methods:60 sample of urine cast-off ceils of transitional cell bladder cancer had been detected by the polymerase chain reaction(PCR)using special primer and DNA restriction endo- nuclease technique(DNA RET).Results:Of 60 transitional cell bladder cancer,80.0%(48/60)were positive gene expression for HPV_(16) DNA(among them,73.3% for one grade transitional cell bladder cancer,78.50% for,two grade transitional cell bladder cancer 92.3% three grade transitional cell biadder cancer)and 75%(45/60)were positive gene expression for HPV_(18) DNA(among them,one,two and three grade transitional cell bladder cancer were 46.7%,66.7% and 44.3% respectively).Conclusions:Our data suggest that human papillomavirus is unlike- ly to be involved in the pathogenesis of transitional cell carcinoma,it is probably a earlier diagnosis methods in transitional cell carcinoma by detecting HPV_(16/18)E_7 in urine cast-off cells of transitional cell bladder cancer.
A moderately halophilic actinomycete strain, designated YIM 90010 T , was isolated from a soil sample collected from a hypersaline habitat in Xinjiang Province, China, and then investigated using a polyphasic taxonomic approach. The strain produced abundant aerial mycelia and fragmented substrate mycelia on most media tested; the optimum NaCl concentration for growth was 10 % (w/v) and the optimum growth temperature and pH were 28 °C and 7·2, respectively. Chemotaxonomically and phylogenetically, the strain was related to members of the genus Nocardiopsis . The isolate contained chemotaxonomic markers that were diagnostic for the genus Nocardiopsis , i.e. meso -diaminopimelic acid, no diagnostic sugars, and MK-10(H 6 ), MK-10(H 8 ) and MK-12 as the predominant menaquinones. The major fatty acids were iso- and anteiso-branched acids combined with tuberculostearic acid (Me C 18 : 0 ), straight-chain saturated fatty acids and unsaturated fatty acids. The G+C content was 73·1 mol%. Phylogenetic analysis confirmed that strain YIM 90010 T was a member of the genus Nocardiopsis and most closely related to Nocardiopsis kunsanensis (97·6 % similarity) and Nocardiopsis xinjiangensis (98·1 % similarity). It can be differentiated from these species by using phenotypic characteristics, phylogenetic analysis and DNA–DNA hybridization results. On the basis of the polyphasic evidence, a novel species, Nocardiopsis salina sp. nov., is proposed. The type strain of the species is YIM 90010 T (=KCTC 19003 T =CCTCC AA 204009 T ).
Abstract Oligonucleotide microarray has become one of the most powerful tools in the areas such as genotyping, gene expression, and SNPs detection. However quality control is critical for rapid development of this technology. Several approaches have been attempted to monitor the fabrication steps from oligonucleotide probe printing to data analysis. Yet, quality control methods for presynthesized oligonucleotide probes have not been available. Here we propose a novel approach for the control of the quality of oligonucleotide probes using the technology of denaturing high-performance liquid chromatography (DHPLC). In this work, all possibly existing types of poorly synthesized oligonucleotide probes prepared by artificial method were used to validate the discriminating ability of DHPLC. It was found that DHPLC can not only provide the purity ratio of the oligonucleotide probes accurately, but also detect misincorporation of chemicals in the oligonucleotides such as one base substitution, one base deletion, or failed amino modification which is difficult to be distinguished through routine methods such as PAGE. For 277 oligonucleotide probes, 31% of the probes had a purity ratio of 70% or less. The results indicate that DHPLC can be a practical approach to control the quality of oligonucleotide probes before they are printed to the microarray slides.
Objective:To study the risk factors and treatment of lymphatic fistulas after the radical operation of gastric cancer.Methods:Observed the clinical data of 631 cases after the radical operation of gastric cancer that had been received in our hospital from February 1998 to February 2008.Multiple factor analysis with logistic regression was performed for the risk factors.Results:The level of post-operative serum albumin on the first day and Ultrasonically activated shears are protective facrors against lymphatic fistulas(P0.05).Conclusions:Ultrasonically activated shears can reduce lymphatic fistulas.Fasting,total parenteral nutrition and octreotide are effective for the treatment of lymphatic fistulas.
Objective To explore the value of current opportunistic screening(OS) in diagnosis of cervical cancer and pre-cancer at the country hospitals of China.Methods The data of chongqing cancer hospital between 2008-2009 was collected and analyzed.6 means were used for OS:liquie-based cytology,classical Pap smear,HPV-DNA test,Protocol Ⅰ recommended by Cancer Foundation of China(liquie-based cytologyand HPV-DNA test),ProtocolⅡ(classical Pap smear and HPV-DNA test),Protocol Ⅲ(vision inspection with acetic add,VIA).All the suspected cases underwent colposcopy and biopsy.Each case of cervical lesion or cervical cancer was confirmed pathologically.Results The total of 22 213 patients came to our hospital and 3 514(16.81%)of them received OS.Cervical cytology(liquie-based cytology and classical Pap smear) was the most commonly used in screening(91.4%).Cervical lesions pre-cancer were diagnosed in 79(2.25%) and cervical in 3(0.1%).Conclusion As the prevalence of cervical or pre-cancer is high among the women who visit hospital for gynecologic diseases,TCT great value in screening of cervical lesionses,The OS should be highly recommended so as to diagnose and treat cervical cancer and pre-cancer properly and timely.
After the establishment of Republic of China,national physical education was gradually paid attention to.From the Northern Warlords Period to the Nanjing Kuomintang Regime Period,the physical education was gradually established and improved through the promulgation of a series of decrees and regulations.In this environment,Jiangxi physical education was gradually stepped into the normal direction.The paper reviewed the status of Jiangxi physical education from 1912 to 1949 and then explored the whole process of Jiangxi physical education from the establishment to the gradual improvement.
