Calculation and Application of Trusted Carbon Footprint in Power Supply Chain Based on LCA

Aiming at the problems of large carbon emission detection error and low carbon footprint measurement accuracy of power supply chain, a reliable carbon footprint measurement system of power supply chain based on LCA is designed. The existing blockchain artificial intelligence algorithm is improved by integrating different scale and dimension characteristics, which improves the analysis and calculation ability of the carbon footprint of the power supply chain. The Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) algorithm is used for standard control of abnormal data. Blockchain technology is introduced to build a carbon footprint measurement network, and the reliable collection of carbon footprint data of the supply chain is realized. The experiment shows that the data error rate of the system is within the acceptable range, which lays a foundation for other technical research.

3-D SIMULATION AND STUDY ON ALUMINIUM STRIP'S RUNNING DEVIATION IN HOT ROLLING PROCESS

In aluminium strip hot rolling process,because the landscape orientation parameters of the workpiece and the rolling mill are not even,there is always departure between the center line of the workpiece and the assumed center line,which is called running deviation.Factors leading to running deviation are summarized on the basis of abandent spot datas in this work;Finite element analysis software MSC.Marc is utilized to model aluminium strip hot rolling process under the influence of different factors for three-dimentional elastic-plastic finite element analysis;Making the original gap difference,aluminium strip's landscape orientation thick difference,the deviation of aluminium strip central line,the deflection angle of the work piece at the beginning as variable respectively,the running deviation of aluminium strip JP1235's rolling process is simulated refers to JP1235 material-base which is obtained from experiments,and the laws of running deviation under the influence of different factors are obtained repectively.

Behaviors of helium in vanadium: Stability, diffusion, vacancy trapping and ideal tensile strength

The behaviors of helium in vanadium including stability, diffusion, and its interaction with vacancy as well as its effects on the ideal tensile strength was investigated by a first-principles method. The activation energy barrier of helium was calculated to be 0.09 eV, which is consistent with the experimental result. The results indicated that the vacancy can lead to a directed helium segregation into the vacancy to form a helium cluster since the vacancy provides a "lower atomic and electron density region" as a large driving force for helium binding. It is easy for a mono-vacancy to trap helium and form a HenV complex. The first-principles computational tensile test demonstrates that helium obviously decreased the tensile strength of vanadium.

A simple and efficient innovation of the vapor-diffusion method for controlling nucleation and growth of large protein crystals

The rate of water vaporization in the vapor-diffusion method is critical for the protein crystallization process. Present methods, however, allow little or no control of the equilibration rates. This paper presents a relatively simple innovation of the conventional vapor-diffusion method by introducing a capillary barrier (for hanging drop) or a punched film barrier (for both hanging and sitting drop) between drop and reservoir, which can be beneficial in controlling the water vaporization rate, thereby promoting growth of large protein crystals. The crystallization experiments for lysozyme, trichosanthin and a novel neurotoxin BmK Mu9 show that this modified vapor-controlling-diffusion method is very effective for producing large protein crystals. The improved technique can be routinely used as a method for the preparation of other macromolecular and small-molecule crystals whose crystallization involves vaporization of water.

Microstructure and thermal shock resistance of microarc oxidation films on 6061 aluminum alloy

The ceramic oxide films were prepared on 6061 aluminium alloy by microarc oxidation.The microstructure,composition and phase constituent of the films were investigated by SEM and XRD.Scratch and thermal shock tests were carried out to evaluate the adhesion between the film and substrate.The results show that the films consist two layers,a dense layer and a loose layer.The film is mainly composed of γ-Al_2O_3,α-Al_2O_3 and amorphous SiO_2 phases.Scratch test shows that the critical load of the 50 μm film is about 55 N.Thermal shock tests reveal there is no obvious change for a coated sample of 50 μm thickness film subjected to the thermal shock test for 50 times from 500℃→quenching in water.The thinner the film thickness,the better the thermal shock resistance of coated sample.Moreover,the polishing treatment of coated sample is beneficial for improving its thermal shock resistance.

Experimental Study of Interface Shear Characteristics of Pervious Concrete and Carbonated Soil in the MgO-Carbonated Composite Pile

Regarding a novel and low-carbon composite pile, the MgO-carbonated composite pile (MCP) is formed by a pervious concrete pile (inner core) at the center of a deep magnesia (MgO) mixing column (outer core) subjected to forced carbonation. The shaft resistance of the MCP is primarily governed by the interface of pervious concrete–carbonated soil. Understanding the interface's shear behavior and strength is crucial for the design and safety assessment of the MCP. In this paper, a series of direct shear tests were conducted to analyze the shear behaviors of the pervious concrete–carbonated soil interface. The aim was to evaluate the impact of key influence factors such as carbonation time, MgO content, and initial water content on the interface friction capacity. Furthermore, a practical prediction model for interface shear strength was proposed, taking into account the aforementioned factors. The test results revealed that the peak shear strength of the specimen under 12 h of carbonation time reached 508 kPa, representing a 94% increase compared to the specimens without forced carbonation. The curves of shear stress versus tangential displacement of the inner–outer cores interface exhibited both strain-hardening and -softening behaviors. The proposed linear model exhibited excellent predictive accuracy for interface shear strength, with a regression coefficient exceeding 0.8. Based on multiple linear analysis, MgO content emerged as the most significant factor affecting the interface shear strength of the MCP, followed by vertical effective stress.

Isolation of a Streptomyces venezuelae Strain Producing Polyvinyl Alcohol Degrading Enzyme

With polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) as sole carbon source, an actinomyces strain GY1 that produces extracellular PVA degrading enzyme was isolated from soil sample of a PVA plant. The strain was identified as Streptomyces venezuelae according to the whole nucleotide sequence analysis of 16S ribosomal DNA, physiological characteristics and chemical component analysis of its whole cell. S. venezuelae GY1 could produce 120 U L -1 PVA degrading enzyme when PVA was used as sole carbon source, and the yield was 10 times higher than that when glucose or soluble starch was used as sole carbon source. Supplement of glucose in PVA medium would affect biomass and enzyme yield. Biomass and PVA degrading enzyme activity of the strain increased with the increasing of initial glucose concentration in the PVA medium if the concentration of glucose was less than 3 g L -1. When 3 g L -1 glucose was supplemented in the medium, the dry cell weight and PVA degrading enzyme activity were 2.4 fold and 2.6 fold of those without glucose in medium. However, the specific enzyme activity (PVA degrading enzyme activity per dry cell weight) was enhanced very little. When the initial glucose concentration in PVA medium continued to increase, the PVA degrading enzyme activity and specific enzyme activity decreased though the biomass concentration continuously increased. In addition, PVA with lower saponification inhibited the growth of S. venezuelae GY1 and the production of PVA degrading enzyme. This strain is different from other bacteria that produce PVA degrading enzyme, which might be partially due to that S. venezuelae GY1 lacks esterase. Fig 5, Tab 1, Ref 16
