Unique Features of Nanomaterials and their Combination Support Applications in Orthodontics.

Nanotechnology is a rapidly evolving field with numerous biological applications and is becoming increasingly significant due to its immense potential to enhance the properties of orthodontic and biomaterials. It is employed in various emerging areas of orthodontics, focusing on improving the performance of diverse orthodontic appliances and accessories, as well as nanoelectromechanical systems (NEMS) and nanorobots. Nevertheless, the biocompatibility and cytotoxicity of nanomaterials in orthodontic applications require further investigation. This paper reviews the latest applications of nanomaterials in orthodontics, elucidates their unique features and synergistic applications in orthodontics, and outlines prospective developments in the field.

The Tentative Study on Exhausting Performance of Diesel Engine Burning Ethanol-Diesel Mixture

Advancements were made to the fuel supply system on the basis of the original X195 Diesel Engine correlating its structure features, and we designed exhausting performance experiments on the injection diesel engine burning the mixture of ethanol and diesel. The results show that: the exhaust smoke and the NOx emission could be significantly reduced by ameliorating the engine.

Preparation of the Core-Nanoshell Composite Materials and Adsorption of Chromium-Containing Heavy Metals

The core-nanoshell composite materials with magnetic fly-ash hollow cenosphere as core and nanoLaFeO 3 as shell were synthesized by high-energy ball milling method. The samples were characterized by XRD, SEM and VSM. The results show that the core-nanoshell composite materials were prepared successfully. As the exchange-coupling interaction happens between ferrite of magnetic fly-ash hollow cenosphere and nanosized ferrite coating,the remanence and the coercivity improves, so it is better for core-nanoshell to adsorb heavy metals. The adsorption-magnetic separation processing were used for Cr (VI) of heavy metals in water, by atomic absorption spectrometry to measure ion concentration after adsorption. Batch experiments were carried out to investigate the effect of solution pH on the adsorption as well as adsorption kinetics and adsorption isotherm. The results show that at pH 2, obtain the maximum removal rate. The adsorption data were better fitted for the Freundlich model,indicating that the adsorption of Cr (VI) preferably follows multilayer and heterogeneous adsorption process. Compared with two kinetic models linear fitting parameters, adsorption conforms to pseudo secend-order kinetic model well,revealing chemisorption as the dominant mechanism.

Scientific Research Project Cost Estimating Method and System Based on Improved BP Neural Network

Traditional scientific research project cost estimating method cannot meet accuracy and practicability at the same time. Aiming at this problem, scientific research project cost estimating method based on neural network was built. Firstly, the construction and influencing factors of scientific research project cost were analyzed. Secondly, an estimating model based on improved BP neural network was built; a nonlinear expression between influencing factors (input) and cost (output) was created. Finally, an estimating system with the model was implemented by Java. The effectiveness of the method was tested. Testing experiment showed the estimating model based on improved BP neural network is reliable and the precision is high.

Local Design and Near Net Shape Optimization of Typical Ultra-High Strength Steel B-Pillar in Hot Stamping

Due to the deep drawing structure and box-shaped design in hot stamping, the typical ultra-high strength steel B-pillar was reasonably optimized to eliminate wrinkles in big end, assure the blank in the right position and meet the requirements of assembly. The finite element inverse algorithm was used to reverse the original blank of optimized part and production experiments of full-scaled part were performed to analyze the effect of optimized blank on the forming process.

This paper introduced the significance of hot stamping on developing lightweight technology and safety property enhancement in China Automotive industry, as well as the research status and progress and market prospect of hot stamping process, Materials and equipments. Key technology and focus of hot stamping are analyzed, direction of hot stamping further development were proposed. Hot stamping process, technology and equipments with completely independent intellectual property rights were developed surrounding energy saving, process stability, quality consistency, flexible distribution of components’ strength , high cost-effective production and so on, which is of important for development of hot stamping in China.

Application of Magnetic Barkhausen Noise Test System in Hot Stamping

Hot-stamped high strength steel (HSS) is widely used in body structure as a solution for weight-reduction of automobiles. In order to realize fast field measurement of mechanical properties of hot-stamped HSS parts, a magnetic Barkhausen noise (MBN) test system was developed. The system was used to measure hardness of hot-stamped bumper beam and strip with tailored properties. Results show good precision and convenience of the MBN method.

Valuation Method for Effects of Hot Stamping Parameters on Tailored Properties

The effects of hot stamping parameters including die temperature and holding pressure was evaluated throughout the orthogonal experiment method. Regardless of the effect of the holding pressure, when the die temperature was lower than 400 °C, the lowest hardness emerged at the air gap. The range of transition zone expanded as the die temperature increased. When the die temperature was set at 400 °C, the hardness with 20MPa holding pressure was higher than others, which resulted by considering both the effect of cooling rate and strain.

A Study on the Relationship between Hardness and Magnetic Properties of Ultra-High Strength Steel

Magnetic nondestructive testing methods including eddy current testing, magnetic memory, magnetic Barkhausen noise and so on are widely used in testing mechanical properties of ferromagnetic parts. Experiments were done to study the relationship between hardness and magnetic properties of ultra-high strength steel (UHSS), which plays an important role in automobile industry. The magnetic properties of UHSS specimens with different hardness were studied. The result shows that there is a strong connection between hardness and magnetic properties. Coercive force of UHSS is proportional to the hardness. This can be used to explain certain mechanism of magnetic nondestructive testing method such as connection between hardness and Barkhausen noise.
