Nature Reserve takes an important part both biodiversity conservation and community economic development. But its concentric circular zoning has been a conflict to its biodiversity conservation and community economic development. Taking Beijing Labagoumen Nature Reserve as studying area, multi-data resource as Digital Elevation Model and geo-spatial data, also spatial analyst technology including GIS and RS, which make expert knowledge related to spatial raster to express spatial rasters importance according its eco-attribute. As an attempt, three and four level of eco-evaluation in this nature reserve was got through multi-layer raster map algebra operation based on Multi-factor Weighted Model by using spatial analyst module of ArcGis9.x released by ESRI.
Employee satisfaction is a main source of firms' competitive advantages. Employee sense of gain (ESG) is defined as the subjective feeling of getting various objective benefits due to employees' efforts at work. It appropriately reflects employee satisfaction with the objective needs and their subjective perception of the firms, which affects their attitude, behavior, and work performance. Although ESG is gaining increasing interest in human resources research and managerial practice, literature on its conception, measurement and contribution to human resource theory is still limited. The study 1 developed an integrative framework of concept of ESG and reported the development and validation of a scale measuring ESG. Based on the exploratory factor analysis of 201 valid questionnaires responded by enterprise staffs, the initial scale was formed. Through confirmatory factor analysis of 172 questionnaires, the formal scale was obtained. The multi-phase scale development process which resulted in a 14-item ESG scale measuring two dimensions: employee's material sense of gain and employee's spiritual sense of gain. Study 2 investigated the influence mechanism of ESG based on statistical analysis of 254 valid questionnaires. The results showed that ESG was influenced by the all three dimensions of supportive human recourse practices (SHRP), whereby the influences were mediated by perceived insider status (PIS). Results also suggested that leader political skill (LPS) moderated the effect between SHRP (fairness of rewards and punishments, growth opportunity) and PIS positively. Overall, this research provided a reliable and valid measurement scale of ESG in Chinese setting and explored the influence mechanism, as well as boundary conditions. Managerial implications were provided from the perspectives of organizations, leaders, and employees.
Emphasizing the important role of process water conservation to improve the level of water use in papermaking industry, then the detailed analysis is made to the process water of papermaking industry from the processes and the water consumption points. According to the features of each process and water consumption point separately, water-saving measures are proposed correspondingly aimed at maximizing the process water conservation and promoting the level of water saving in papermaking industry.
Dengying Formation in the PLN area of Sichuan Basin are with complex geological background and reservoir heterogeneity. It has variable reflection characteristics, and low-velocity siliceous dolomite, which usually gives P-wave impedance close to that of the reservoir. Hence, using the P-wave impedance cannot efficiently distinguish between the siliceous dolomite and the reservoir. In the current work, the well logging data was collected, mined and forward-modeled. The results revealed that the shear wave impedance can effectively identify the reservoir and the siliceous dolomite. Through the layers calibration and layers matching of real multi-wave data, the interpretation of P-wave and converted wave seismic section can be used to effectively identify the reservoir. The reservoir prediction accuracy was highly improved. The group view of value now tends to be multi-dimensional for Chinese youths. Eight types of val- ue view that were greatly popular in 20 century have been discussed in this article. It purports to purify the contaminated ideals of mores and spirit, and finally eliminate the perplexity of youths in their views of value during the period of socialist economy. The way in which such a target is focused on can be described as fol- lows: rational analysis of the value views, discrimination of the value propositions from those which are not, reflection on the irrational views of value, critique of the wrong views of value.
The aim of this work is to apply hyperspectral remote sensing technique to land quality monitoring to explore its application potential in this field. According to the characteristics of hyperspectral remote sensing technique combining with spectral features of land quality indicators, we use multivariate statistics methods and approaches based on spectral position variables, explore the spectral indicators sensitive to land quality, set up the retrieval models of land quality indicator, study the potential of applying hyperspectral remote sensing technique in land quality monitoring. Attempt to ameliorate land quality monitoring techniques, expand monitoring extents, decrease the self cost of survey, shorten the survey period, and make the results more scientific, objective and stable by this technique.
The essay provides a survey of local improvising music practices in major Chinese cities in relation to traditional guqin aesthetics, western rock music, experimental, and improvising music. My analysis proposes that China’s contemporary improvising practices foster a kind of atmospheric relation among musicians, audience, and the environment. Importantly, the environment is not simply the site where improvisation occurs, but an important constitutive element in an improvising event. This context-specific aspect of China is what, I consider, to make its improvising practice unique and significant.
Purpose This paper aims to explore the mechanism of influence on the subordinate's sense of gain at work (SGW) in terms of the coaching leadership behavior (CL), supervisor-subordinate guanxi (SSG) and commitment-based practice of human resource management (CHRM). Design/methodology/approach Based on the survey of 584 employees from 50 firms operating in China, this study explores the effect of CL on employees’ SGW, which concerns two dimensions: sense of material gain and sense of spiritual gain. Findings Results show that the CL has a significant positive influence on both the subordinate’s sense of material gain and his/her sense of spiritual gain, in which there exists a mediating effect of SSG and moderating effects of CHRM for the influence. Practical implications This study not only develops the theory of SGW, but also provides a scientific basis and policy suggestions for employers to implement in order to enhance their employees’ SGW. Originality/value Few integrative studies have examined the impact of CL on employees’ SGW. Based on the Need-to-Belong Theory, this study adds new empirical evidence and constructs a theoretical model for the mechanism of influence on the SGW, examines the influence of CL on the subordinate’s SGW and finds a mechanism of transmission (SSG) and a boundary condition (CHRM) for the influence.
