A MODEL FOR THE MASS TRANSFER COEFFICIENT IN ROTATING PACKED BED

Abstract Based on the locus of ink on the well-rotating disc, a model for the mean residence time of liquid in a rotating packed bed, t = ϕ′ ε (ctg(α2/2) − ctg (α1/2))ωu), is proposed. Model predictions agreed with the reported data with relative error within ±15%. A modified surface renewal model based on Danckwerts, is used. For evaluation of the mass transfer coefficient, prediction of surface renewal frequency 5 is assumed as S =ϕω(ϕis a model parameter), and effective contact time t is determined by the residence time model. Model predictions for kL agreed well with the experimental data with relative error within ±14%

Fabrication of High Quality Three-Dimensional Photonic Crystals

High quality colloidal photonic crystals made from polystyrene spheres with diameter 240 nm are fabricated by the vertical deposition method. The scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and the transmittance spectrum are used to characterize the properties of the photonic crystal. The SEM images show that there are few lattice defects. The transmittance of the photonic crystal is above 75% in the pass band at 700 nm and is lower than 5% at the centre of the band gap, respectively. It is found that proper concentration is a very important factor to fabricate the photonic crystal when the diameter of the spheres is lower than 300 nm.

Studies on the preparation of low free-TDI polyurethane prepolymer with thin-film evaporator

Use thin-film evaporator to separate TDI from TDI-TMP polyurethane prepolymer,the pilot-scale equipment and technological process were designed by lab testing and the pilot scale.To optimize the process,the effects of distillation temperature,feed-in speed,distillation vacuum on the result of separation was investigated.The optimum process was that feed-in speed was 20 kg/h,distillation temperature was 180 ℃,distillation vacuum was 200 Pa.The tests in the pilot-scale equipment showed that the temperament affected greatly on the result of separation ,free-TDI of polyurethane prepolymer couldn′t meet to quality specification at lower temperature which wasn′t below 170 ℃ and over 190 ℃,polyurethane prepolymer was easily gelled and the equipment was easily clogged.The experiments validated the feasibility of using thin-film evaporator to separate TDI from polyurethane prepolymer.This results provided the necessary basis for industrial test and industrial production.

HDI's molecular structure is a special saturated straight chain and it has highly unsaturated double bonds(isocyanate group).It has such very lively and chemical properties that can be used to form polyurea with water.And it also reacts with polyurethane to form polyol,reacts with amine to bi- uret.Ontology reactions occur under the catalyst.HDI and its HDI-derivatives own the characteristic of stability,being widely used in coating,adhesive,leather,and other fields.This article reviews the ex- perimental and theoretical studies relating to the chemical reaction of HDI.

Computing Scattering Phase Function by Recursive Formula of Mie Theory

Scattering phase function is a very important physical parameter in lidar detection of multiple scattering returns.In this paper,scattering phase function of one particle radius is calculated by recursive formula of Mie theory.The result of forward and backward scattering peaks increase when the radius of particle has added according to the theory of scattering.At the same time,scattering phase function of non-one particle radius is calculated by recursive formula of Mie theory,which can use for research on multiple scattering of aerosols such as atmosphere,fog,clouds and so on.

Absolute Gap of Two-Dimensional Fractal Photonic Structure

We propose a model for two-dimensional photonic materials constructed on a kind of fractal structures. Total energy flows of the photonic materials constructed with either dielectric cylinders or air holes show that both of them possess absolute gaps for the electromagnetic waves.

Analysis of errors induced by angle tuning in direct detection Doppler wind lidar

The wind measurement accuracy was influenced by the errors of angle tuning in direct detection Doppler wind lidar.Aiming at the errors of angle tuning,theoretically,we deduced the expression between the transmission of F-P etalon and the incident angle and divergence of laser,by which the errors induced by the incident angle,divergence,line-width and stepping angle were analyzed.In the direct detection Doppler wind lidar system using aerosol scattering,simulation results show that when the system resolution is 2×106,the diameter of F-P etalon should be larger than 8 cm;in the region of approximate normal incidence,with the divergence below 150 μrad,the peak of transmission spectrum shifts 1 MHz when the incident angle is altered for 10 μrad,it means that the measured error is 0.5 m/s for a wavelength of 1064 nm.

摘要: 敬畏是一种对浩瀚的刺激以及现有心理结构无法适应的刺激的情感反应。大量实证证据显示, 敬畏可以促进各种形式的亲社会行为。至于其中的心理机制, 小我假说认为, 诱发敬畏体验的浩瀚刺激会导致自我的渺小感, 推动个体的注意力从自我转移至他人, 进而促进了亲社会行为; 真我假说则认为, 敬畏有助于促进个体的注意力从日常的世俗关注向更大的精神存在转移, 激发了个体对其真实自我的追求, 进而促进了亲社会行为。小我与真我假说可以在"大二"框架下进行整合, 即敬畏在自我的能动维度(真我)和共生维度(小我)上通过两条平行的路径促进亲社会行为的产生。未来研究需要更深入地探讨敬畏的亲社会效应的心理机制, 并在此基础上开发出促进捐赠等亲社会行为的干预措施, 以期为第三次分配战略的有效实施提供心理学方案。

Study on Epoxy Adhesives with High-temperature Resistance

The epoxy adhesive with high-temperature resistance is widely used in every field of industry and daily life for its high adhesive strength, excellent comprehensive performance, and convenience. The high-temperature resistance mainly depends on the thermal deformation temperature and thermal oxidation stability. The thermal deformation temperature is higher if the distance between cross linking spots is short, and cross linking density is high, and the heat resisting groups such as aromatic ring, alicyclic ring and heterocyclic ring also have effects on it. So the high-temperature resistance can be strengthened by modifying epoxy resins with using curing agent with polyfunctionality. The factors which have effects on high-temperature resistance of epoxy adhesive are introduced from the aspect of compositions, and the research development of preparing high-temperature resisting epoxy adhesives at present is summarized.
