Philosophical Thoughts on Creator as Driving-Force of Universe in Third Quantisation

Quantum theory is the first quantisation. Quantum field theory is the second quantisation. Mukhopadhyay’s concept theory is the third quantisation in Physics. In this present work, the driving-force of universe has been investigated using Mukhopadhyay’s concept theory. Also, reason behind the creation of universe has been investigated using Mukhopadhyay’s concept theory. In this work, author has described the relations between Physics and Philosophy corresponding to the philosophical aspects of the creation of universe. In future, this work may be helpful to solve many other extreme problems of Physics by appropriate discoveries in future. Studies on the DC Characteristics of Microelectronic AlGaN/GaN HEMTs

In this work, total 3752 individual simulation-outputs are reported. Total 25 individual microelectronic single-heterojunction AlGaN/GaN high electron mobility transistor (HEMT) structures are designed and simulated in this work using the SILVACO-ATLAS software tool. In this work, drain voltage and gate voltage are electrical parameters to determine the DC characteristics of HEMTs. Aluminium mole fraction is the structural parameter in this purpose. The effects of drain voltage and gate voltage on drain current are studied for different combinations of AlGaN thickness and gate length. Also, the effect of aluminium mole fraction on drain current is studied for these combinations. This work will be helpful to experimentally fabricate the microelectronic HEMT structures. A SISO Y-Shape 5G Antenna for Intelligent Transportation Systems

This study presents a Single Input Single Output (SISO) antenna as an alternative to multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) antenna systems for automotive applications. The proposed system can be installed on the vehicle's roof in a low-profile enclosure. With appropriate physical dimensions, each MIMO system delivers excellent performance across the whole band. However, significant coupling with resonating sections is the fundamental issue with MIMO antennas. In this study, a review of several MIMO antennas will be undertaken to determine the feasibility of moving away from typical Sub-6 GHz 5G frequency bands and the 5.9 GHz band to mm-Wave bands SISO antenna systems for Intelligent Transportation System (ITS). The proposed Y-Shape SISO antenna covers the major mm-Wave 5G frequency bands of 26.5 GHz and 2S GHz with a peak gain of 4.9 dB, radiation efficiency of 81%, maximum VSWR of 1.6, and wider bandwidth of 5 GHz. In the result analysis section, a detailed comparison of the proposed SISO Y-Shape antenna with current works based on MIMO antennas suited for automotive applications is also provided to determine the suitability of the proposed antenna in an automotive environment and ITS.

Effect of PMMA Micropillars on the Surface-Driven Capillary Flow of Dyed Aqueous Isopropyl Alcohol in PMMA Microfluidic Devices

In this work, dyed aqueous isopropyl alcohol [60% isopropyl alcohol (IPA), 40% dyed water] is prepared as the working liquid. The effect of surface modification on the microfluidic flow of aqueous isopropyl alcohol (IPA) is studied in the polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) microfluidic devices. The effect of surface area to volume ratio on microfluidic flow of aqueous isopropyl alcohol is also studied. The effect of microfluidic friction on microfluidic flow of aqueous isopropyl alcohol is also studied. This work will be useful to control the microfluidic flow of aqueous working liquids in lab-on-a-chip systems for different bioengineering applications.

EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATIONS ON THE SURFACE-DRIVEN CAPILLARY FLOW OF AQUEOUS MICROPARTICLE SUSPENSIONS IN THE MICROFLUIDIC LABORATORY-ON-A-CHIP SYSTEMS

In this work, total 1592 individual leakage-free polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) microfluidic devices as laboratory-on-a-chip systems are fabricated by maskless lithography, hot embossing lithography, and direct bonding technique. Total 1094 individual Audio Video Interleave Files as experimental outputs related to the surface-driven capillary flow have been recorded and analyzed. The influence of effective viscosity, effect of surface wettability, effect of channel aspect ratio, and effect of centrifugal force on the surface-driven microfluidic flow of aqueous microparticle suspensions have been successfully and individually investigated in these laboratory-on-a-chip systems. Also, 5 micron polystyrene particles have been separated from the aqueous microparticle suspensions in the microfluidic lab-on-a-chip systems of modified design with 98% separation efficiency, and 10 micron polystyrene particles have been separated with 100% separation efficiency. About the novelty of this work, the experimental investigations have been performed on the surface-driven microfluidic flow of aqueous microparticle suspensions with the investigations on the separation time in particle-size based separation mechanism to control these suspensions in the microfluidic lab-on-a-chip systems. This research work contains a total of 10,112 individual experimental outputs obtained using total 30 individual instruments by author’s own hands-on completely during more than three years continuously. Author has performed the experimental investigations on both the fluid statics and fluid dynamics to develop an automated fluid machine.

Short Report on Polymer Based Automated Fluid Machines for Applications in Microfluidics

In this experimental work, a couple of gradual expansion microchannels are fabricated by polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) using the maskless lithography, hot embossing lithography and direct bonding technique. Dyed ethylene glycol and dyed water are the prepared working liquids. The CMOS camera catching 25 frames per second with a corresponding time-scale resolution of 0.04 second is used to record each surface-driven microfluidic flow of dyed ethylene glycol and dyed water in the fabricated devices. Leakage-free microfluidic flow is recorded in each case due to proper direct bonding technique. The surface-driven microfluidic flow is governed due to thermodynamic effect. 100% separation efficiency is experimentally achieved in the polymer-based microfluidic lab-on-a-chip systems as automated fluid machines after filtration of polystyrene microparticles from aqueous microparticle suspensions. This particular experimental work may be suitable for commercial microfluidic applications.

Short Review on Fluid Mechanics with the Domain of Nanotechnology for Applications in Nuclear-Reactors

In this work, a brief review on microfluidic flow is provided. Also, the brief ideas on very large scale integration (VLSI) circuits are provided. A single polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) based gradual expansion microchannel is fabricated by the maskless lithography, hot embossing lithography and direct bonding technique. Surface-driven microfluidic flow of dyed water is recorded in the fabricated device using a CMOS camera catching 25 frames per second with a corresponding time-scale resolution of 0.04 second. Microfluidics is in the domain of fluid mechanics. Very large scale integration (VLSI) circuits and ultra large scale integration (ULSI) circuits are in the domain of nanotechnology. Hence, this work may be suitable for miniaturisation in nuclear-reactor technology by proper integration between microfluidics and very large scale integration (VLSI) circuits in future.

Electrical Characteristics and Probable Applications of High Electron Mobility Transistors for Very Large Scale Integration Circuits in Microelectronics and Nanoelectronics Industry

In our work, a maximum drain current of 556 mA is achieved by the simulated structures of double-heterojunction high electron mobility transistors (HEMTs) using the SILVACO-ATLAS physical simulator. According to the results, drain current is higher at shorter gate length. Also, drain current is higher at larger aluminium mole fraction. Further, drain current is higher at larger thickness of AlGaN barrier layer. Again, drain current is found as higher at larger doping concentration of AlGaN barrier layer. In this work, formation of 2-DEG is demonstrated directly by the study on conduction band engineering according to the quantum well at heterojunction. Effect of gate length to control the electrical characteristics of gallium nitride based double-heterojunction HEMTs in nano-scale dimensions is one particular investigation in our work. In future, HEMT may become an effective circuit component for the very large scale integration (VLSI) circuits in microelectronics and nanoelectronics industry.

Nanoscale coating in microfluidic laboratory-on-a-chip devices fabricated by microelectronic technologies

The nano-film of diamond-like carbon (DLC) is coated on the inner walls of microfluidic laboratory-on-a-chip devices as microchannel bends fabricated by microelectronic processes. Maskless lithography and hot embossing lithography techniques are used to fabricate these micron-scale devices. The microfluidic flow of water is controlled by the level of surface wettability of DLC coating inside the microchannel bends. These microchannel bends are structurally modified to separate polystyrene microparticles successfully from test suspension with 100% separation efficiency. These microchannel bends are useful to separate red blood cells (RBCs) and white blood cells (WBCs) from human blood for further clinical tests.

In this research paper, in total 212 individual leakage-free Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) microfluidic devices are fabricated by maskless lithography, hot embossing lithography and direct bonding technique. The effect of channel aspect ratio on dyed water flow is investigated using these microfluidic devices. Experimental studies show that the dyed water flow is faster on the surface of higher wettability. The effect of capillary pressure on dyed water flow is studied in the fabricated PMMA microfluidic devices. According to the experimental observations, the centrifugal force has prominent effect on the dyed water flow. Also, the effect of bend angle is investigated on the surface-driven capillary flow of water. The polystyrene microparticles have been separated in the microfluidic lab-on-a-chip systems using the investigated flow features. A 100% separation efficiency is achieved in these lab-on-a-chip systems. These microfluidic lab-on-a-chip systems can be used to separate blood cells from human whole blood for further clinical tests. These experimental studies are important in bioengineering applications. The effect of bend angle as channel geometry to control the surface-driven capillary flow is investigated as a novel approach to control the separation time in microfluidic lab-on-a-chip systems. Also, the effect of surface wettability as surface property to control the surface-driven capillary flow is investigated as a novel approach to control the separation time in microfluidic lab-on-a-chip systems.
