ANN based Voltage Control of Hybrid DC Microgrid Connected System

Renewable energy technology is a significant factor in the widespread adoption of microgrids. The flexibility with which energy storage can be integrated into the DC distribution system and the lower system losses are two of the many reasons for choosing DC Micro Grid. PI and PID linear controllers, which have been around for a long time and are widely used in the power electronics industry, are not the best choice when system parameters change. In order to regulate the output voltage of DC-DC boost converters, this paper suggests using an artificial neural network (ANN). The ANN can then directly regulate the step-up DC converter once it has been calibrated to the appropriate level. Many MATLAB/Simulink simulations are run to test the efficacy of the proposed ANN. The simulation results demonstrate that the ANN controller performs better than the PI controller under a wide range of load conditions.

Alzheimer's disease is a neurodegenerative disorder that ultimately results from the accumulation of beta-amyloid plaques in the brain. The Alzheimer's disease cannot be prevented or cured at this time, and there is no recognised alternative. The medicinal solutions that are currently available can merely slow down its development. However, nanotechnology has demonstrated its applications in the medical field, and it demonstrates a great deal of promise in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. In particular, it has shown significant promise in the detection of the condition and the development of an alternative technique to cure it. It is necessary for the medication delivery system to have the capability of penetrating and crossing the blood-brain barrier in order to accomplish this need. On the other hand, greater research is necessary in order to discover and overcome these limitations, which have the potential to improve drug absorption while simultaneously reducing toxicity and adverse effects. Certain nanotechnology-based techniques to treating Alzheimer's disease include regenerative medicine, neuroprotection, and stem cell regeneration. These are just few of the emerging approaches. This article's goal is to take a look at nanotechnology from every angle, including its advantages and disadvantages and how it's helping with neurodegenerative disease research and therapy.

Structural, and magnetic studies of a novel homemade spray pyrolysis synthesized Fe-doped CeO2 thin films

Thin film samples of pure CeO2 and Fe-doped CeO2 were prepared via a home-made spray pyrolysis set-up with an aim to explore its suitability for use as functional materials in spintronics applications. Compressed air was used as a carrier gas to spray deposit the films on preheated glass substrate at an optimum temperature of 400° C. Structural analysis using X-ray diffraction confirm the single-phase formation of CeO2 for pure and Fe-doped samples. Field emission electron microscope images illustrate the fairly uniform deposition of thin films with nanocrystalline nature. Energy dispersive X-ray analysis confirm the near stoichiometry of doped Ce1-xFexO2 (x = 0, 0.05, 0.1) samples. Magnetic behavior of the samples were studied using Vibrating Sample Magnetometer which show a dominant diamagnetic behavior for both Fe-doped and pure CeO2 thin films. Insufficient number of oxygen vacancies produced during the deposition of thin films is expected to the cause for the absence of ferromagnetic ordering at room temperature.
