This article discusses and analyzes the effective strategy of the practical teaching of the Power System Relay Protection course based on micro-classes. It is divided into three parts. The first part analyzes the teaching value of the practical application of the micro-class in the relay protection course. The second part analyzes the characteristics and teaching status of the course. The third part combines the characteristics and teaching problems of micro-courses from the collection and production of micro-course resources, selection of topics, practical training, etc., and proposes effective strategies to better solve the problems in the course training, improve the effectiveness of the course training, better implement a variety of teaching methods based on micro-classes, and cultivate students’ professional skills and comprehensive abilities.
