Silicone rubber (SiR) has been an important material widely used in the cable accessories in cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) cables. The electrical tree is a serious threat to SiR insulation and it will cause breakdown when reaches the ground. The high carrying capacity of superconducting cable makes the magnetic flux density up to hundreds of mT around the conductor. However, the effect of high magnetic flux density on electrical tree in SiR has not been researched. In this paper, the magnetic flux density ranged from 0 to 400 mT. The electrodes were typical needle-plate electrodes. The frequency of the applied AC voltage was 50 Hz. The growth process of electrical tree was recorded by a microscope system and the pictures were taken. The experiment result indicated that the high magnetic flux density changes the tree structure and affects the growth of tree length and width.
Objective To explore the effect of acupuncture at different groups of acupoints on withdrawal anxiety and depression in heroin addicts.Method Ninety male heroin addicts were randomized into acupuncture group Ⅰ [T5Jiaji points(EX-B2)] of 30 cases,acupuncture group Ⅱ [Neiguan(PC 6)] of 30 cases,and acupuncture group Ⅱ[T5Jiaji points(EX-B2) and Neiguan(PC6)] of 30 cases to receive a 4-week acupuncture treatment,3 times a week,12 sessions in total.Hamilton Rating Scale for Anxiety(HAMA) and Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression(HAMD) were adopted to observe the changes of symptoms before treatment and after 1～4 weeks of treatment.Result After treatment,three groups all showed significant improvements in heroin withdrawal anxiety and depression symptoms(P0.05);after 2-week treatment,acupuncture group Ⅱ was superior to acupuncture groupⅡ(P0.05);after 3-week treatment,acupuncture group Ⅰ was better than acupuncture group Ⅱ in improving anxiety symptoms(P0.05);after 4-week treatment,acupuncture group Ⅱ was superior to acupuncture group Ⅰ in improving depression symptoms(P0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture has therapeutic effect for withdrawal anxiety and depression in heroin addicts;compared to puncturing Neiguan,puncturing T5 Jiaji points has its advantage in treating withdrawal anxiety symptoms in heroin addicts;T5 Jiaji points plus Neiguan can produce a synergistic effect in improving withdrawal anxiety and depression emotions in heroin addicts.
By studying more than six swimmers,reside the plateau for gradient during altitude training,the effects of altitude training on the physiological indexes. The result shows that:The plateau during altitude training by swimming athlete small variations in heart rate、body weight,Beneficial effects of hemoglobin based value compared with the plateau has significant difference,and the plateau effect last longer; Increase in CK concentration and there is no significant difference between the plateau based value; BUN,compared with the plateau based values have significant difference; Visible,the plateau swimmers during altitude training,in the same as the intensity and volume of altitude training cases each physiological index remained in a relatively ideal range.
Objective To compare the clinical therapeutic effects of different needling methods on xerophthalmia.Method Forty-seven xerophthalmia patients were randomly allocated to an acupuncture group of 23 cases and an electroacupuncture group of 24 cases.The eye symptoms were scored,Schirmer I test conducted,tear film break-up time determined,corneal fluorescein staining performed and the Visual Analogue Scale score counted in the two groups before and after treatment.Result The eye symptom score,Schirmer I test result,tear film break-up time,corneal fluorescein staining and the Visual Analogue Scale score improved significantly in both groups of patients after one course of treatment compared with before(P0.001).The total efficacy rate was higher(P0.05) and the eye symptom score and Schirmer I test result improved more(both P0.05) in the electroacupuncture group than in the acupuncture group.There were no statistically significant differences in the Visual Analogue Scale score,tear film break-up time and corneal fluorescein staining between the two groups(all P0.05).Conclusion Electroacupuncture is more effective in treating xerophthalmia and better in improving the eye symptom score and Schirmer I test result than conventional acupuncture.The two have no significant differences in improving the Visual Analogue Scale score,tear film break-up time and corneal fluorescein staining.
Objective To investigate the effect of tremor and depression-relieving prescription plus acupuncture on striatal neurotransmitters DA,NE and 5-HT in a mouse model of Parkinson disease.Methods Twenty-eight adult male C57/BL mice were randomly allocated to four groups:normal,model,Western drug and combined acupuncture and medicine,7 mice each.Striatal DA,NE and 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT) contents were measured by high efficiency liquid chromatography-electrochemical determination in every group of mice.Results Striatal DA,NE and 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT) contents were significantly lower in the model,Western drug and combined acupuncture and medicine groups of mice than in the normal group(P0.01,P0.05) and significantly higher in the Western drug and combined acupuncture and medicine groups of mice than in the model group(P0.01,P0.05).Conclusion Tremor and depression-relieving prescription combined with acupuncture can raise low striatal DA,NE and 5-HT levels.
Objective To observe and analyze the intervention of acupuncture at different acupoints in treating heroin protracted withdrawal syndrome,and provide clinical evidence to selecting specific points in treating the syndrome in scientific and clinical practices.Method Sixty male subjects with heroin dependence were randomized into a control group,acupuncture group 1 and acupuncture group 2.The Protracted Withdrawal Symptom Rating Scale and Hamilton Depression Rating Scale(HAMD) were used in evaluating the changes of the patients before treatment,during treatment and after 3-week treatment.Result Both acupuncture group 1 and 2 had significant differences when compared with the control group in controlling protracted withdrawal symptoms(P0.01,P0.05),but the difference between acupuncture group 1 and 2 was insignificant(P0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture can effectively alleviate the protracted withdrawal symptoms and anxiety in patients with heroin dependence.Neiguan(PC 6) and Shenmen(HT 7) both have significant effect in treating protracted symptoms in patients with heroin dependence,and Shenmen(HT 7) has advantage in relieving emotional disorders.
The safety diagnostic inspection of large plate structures, such as nuclear power plant containment liner plates and aircraft wings, is an important issue directly related to the safety of life. This research intends to present a more quantitative defect imaging in the structural health monitoring (SHM) technique by using a wide range of diagnostic techniques using guided ultrasound. A noncontact detection system was applied to compensate for such difficulties because direct access inspection is not possible for high-temperature and massive areas such as nuclear power plants and aircraft. Noncontact systems use unstable pulse laser and air-coupled transducers. Automatic detection systems were built to increase inspection speed and precision and the signal was measured. In addition, a new Difference Hilbert Back Projection (DHB) algorithm that can replace the reconstruction algorithm for the probabilistic inspection of damage (RAPID) algorithm used for imaging defects has been successfully applied to quantitative imaging of plate structure defects. Using an automatic detection system, the precision and detection efficiency of data collection has been greatly improved, and the same results can be obtained by reducing errors in experimental conditions that can occur in repeated experiments. Defects were made in two specimens, and comparative analysis was performed to see if each algorithm can quantitatively represent defects in multiple defects. The new DHB algorithm presented the possibility of observing and predicting the growth direction of defects through the continuous monitoring system.
