In this paper, the scattering influence on image quality and radiation safety because of changing room size was studied. To estimate the radiation safety in X-ray room, the exact determination of dose rate distribution inside the room and absorbed dose rate for patient is the first task. The authors simulated the dose rate distribution inside diagnostic X-ray room at Nhi Dong hospital with using MCNP5 code. The dependence of dose rate distribution on various peak voltages of X-ray tube was also investigated in this study
The study investigates the effect of bank fintech on the bank efficiency in Vietnam, an emerging country in Southeast Asia. Bank fintech variables are formulated using bank intangible assets, based on existing publications regarding fintech and the utilization of emerging technologies by commercial banks. In addition, the bank efficiency variable is calculated using the Data Envelopment Analysis approach. Our hypothesis suggests a positive effect, which aligns with previous studies. To collect the data, information was obtained from the annual reports, where banks disclosed their implementation of emerging technologies to enhance performance. The panel data of 23 banks from 2011 to 2020 were compiled from various sources, including Vietstock (annual reports and financial statements) and the World Bank (macroeconomic indicators). To test our hypothesis, the authors employed multiple approaches, including fixed-effect (FE), Random-effect (RE), Feasible Generalized Least Square (GLS), and Tobit approaches. The estimation results are mixed, with most suggesting a negative effect of bank fintech on the bank efficiency. This indicates that bank investments in technology innovation does not always yield effective results. These findings support the productivity paradox hypothesis, suggesting that an increase in technology innovation investment may decrease productivity. This study makes a significant contribution to the existing literature on the relationship between bank fintech and bank efficiency. Moreover, it provides evidence that bank investments in technology innovation may be ineffective for commercial banks in Vietnam. Suitable mineralizers promote the formation of the desired phases upon sintering, and organic acids have reducing properties that make the Mn2+ ions more stable during synthesis. The purpose of this work is to study the effect of some mineralizers and organic acids as well as sintering temperature on the structural and luminescence properties of manganese-doped zinc orthosilicate phosphor, synthesized at low temperature by impregnation-coprecipitation method. Photoluminescence spectroscopy, XRD, SEM and EDS were used to investigate the samples. The results show that the most suitable mole ratio of the constituents in the precursor is: 1.97 Zn : 0.03 Mn : 1.0 SiO2 : 0.03 H3BO3 : 0.03 CH3COOH. During 45 minutes, the sample calcined at 700 oC is a bi-phase mixture of β-Zn2SiO4 and α-Zn2SiO4, emitting yellow light at 575 nm wavelength when excited by 254 nm UV radiation. Boric acid is the mineralizer for α-Zn2SiO4. At 800 oC, there is a phase transition from the orthorhombic β-Zn2SiO4 to the rhombo H. axes α-Zn2SiO4. The sample calcined at 900 oC is a single-phase zinc manganese borosilicate solid solution with rhombo H. axes structure of α-Zn2SiO4, consisting of fairly uniform spherical particles with size from 0.3-0.5 µm and emitting 525 nm green light with a luminescence intensity of 46% higher than that of the control sample. The resulting luminescent pigment has the potential for security applications.
Human resource is one of the three important aspects for socio-economic development, developing high-quality human resources is the crucial key for DakLak province to develop quickly and sustainably. However, the awareness of stakeholders about the importance of developing high-quality human resources in DakLak province currently has many limitations that need to be overcome. The purpose of the article is to find the answer why there is such a problem. From the research, analysis and assessment of the awareness status of the stakeholders, the article suggests that raising awareness for stakeholders about the importance of developing high-quality human resources in DakLak province, it is necessary to renew leadership thinking, invest more in education, and make distribution more and more equitable.
In an attempt to construct detailed kinetic mechanisms for biodiesel fuels on the fly, high-pressure rate rules for the concerted HO2 elimination reaction class were derived using a comprehensive training reaction set of more than 60 reactions involving different alkyl methyl/ethyl ester peroxy radicals (RCOOR')-OO•. Using the composite electronic structure method CBS-QB3 in combination with classical statistical mechanics and the transition state theory (TST) rate model, high-pressure rate constants for the reactions in the training set as well as thermodynamic properties for the species involved were calculated. The corrections from Eckart tunneling and hindered internal rotation (HIR) treatments were also included in the calculations. The results reveal that the ester group (-COO-) selectively promotes the reaction when compared with the traditional hydrocarbon fuels; thus it is recommended that the seven derived rate rules for the title reaction class (including the thermodynamic data of the species involved in the NASA format) should be used for construction of detailed kinetic mechanisms for real biodiesel molecules.
