College students' interpersonal interaction has some particularity.Due to the influence from the lack of all-round objective self-perception,self-centeredness and negative values,and inadequate skills in interpersonal interaction,freshmen are found difficult in interpersonal interaction in practical life,and influenced in their level of mental health.Colleges and mental health education centre should centre round freshmen and perform effective guidance in interpersonal interaction to help them adapt to college lives in a better and quicker way.
This paper aims to study the family environment of children of floating population in cities and its influences on such children's mental health by using Family Environment Scale-Chinese Version(FES-CV) and Symptom Checklist 90(SCL-90).Some 500 students from five schools of Henan Province are studied.The results show that children from different types of floating families in urban areas differs statistically in emotional expression in family environment and control;children from floating population and local children statistically differ in somatization,sensitive interpersonal relation,anxiety and terror;factors such as family cohesion,emotional expression,conflict,independence,culture,entertainment,morality,organization and religion are related to many dimensions of their mental health in statistical meaning.As a result,special attention should be paid to the mental health conditions of children of floating population,and these conditions can be improved by advancing their family environment.
