The first Jatropha curcas flowers were treated with diffent kinetin concentration to study the effect on its female-male ratio for improving productivity of Jatropha curcas.The results showed that the female-male ratio of first Jatropha curcas flowers trested with 3 mg/L kinetin was up to 1∶11.9,5 mg/L kinetin could promote differentiation of female and male flowers,and the induction rate of female flowers and female-male ratio of first Jatropha curcas flowers increased with increase of kinetin concwntration when kinetin concentration was 1~3 mg/L.
The biomass and moisture content of Drepanostachyum luodianense with 1~4 years age in different microhabitats were determined to provide theoretical basis for cultivation,development and utilization of Drepanostachyum luodianense in Karst areas.The results showed that the moisture content of different parts of Drepanostachyum luodianense decreased with the increase of age class,the moisture content and biomass distribution of different parts were both stemunderground partbranchleaf and the biomass distribution of different parts was three-year agetwo-year age four-year ageone-year age in the same microhabitat,the stem moisture content of Drepanostachyum luodianense in the same age class was stone slotstone crevicesoil surfacestone ditch,and the biomass distribution of Drepanostachyum luodianense was stone slot stone crevicesoil surfacestone ditch in the same microhabitat.
To provide theoretical basis for the protection of D.luodianense and its application in the desertification control,the soil physic-chemical properties of different microhabitats of D.luodianense was studied thought routine sample collection and lab analysis.The results showed that the soil in the distribution area of D.luodianense was medium loam and heavy loam,the soil pH was of weak alkali.The soil moisture content at the foot slope was higher than at the upper slope in all kinds of microhabitats.At the same slope,the soil moisture content in stone crevice was the highest,the next were stone ditch,stone slot,stone cavern and soil surface.The nutrient level at the foot slope was higher than at the upper slope in all kinds of microhabitats.At the upper slope,the organic matter of soil,hydrolysis-nitrogen and rapid available potassium in stone crevice were the highest,and the content of available phosphorus in stone slot was the highest.At the foot slope,the contents of soil organic matter,hydrolysis-nitrogen and available phosphorus in stone slot were the highest,and the content of rapid available potassium in stone crevice was the highest.
