One of the tourism potentials in Tangerang City which is quite famous for the Pasar Lama Culinary Area. This area is one of the tourist destinations visited by many people for culinary tourism purposes, shopping and others. Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM) is the development of Word-of-Mouth communication in utilizing the internet which is believed to be able to influence the interests and decisions of visiting other people. Instagram, as an internet social media that can make it easier for businesspeople to provide information, then for the public it can also make it easier to share information with potential visitors, including sharing their culinary tourism experiences. The research method used in this research is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. With purposive sampling technique, the number of samples in this study were 120 samples collected online and with instrument testing and data processing in this study resulted that there was a significant influence on Electronic Word of Mouth on visiting interest and visiting decisions on Tourist Area Visitors. Culinary Pasar Lama, Tangerang partially or simultaneously. This research is expected to provide benefits for tourism businesses in the use of Instagram social media with electronic Word of Mouth in sharing information with potential visitors to be able to attract interest and decision to visit.
Laporan Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan dan melaporkan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) berupa Pelatihan Pembuatan Keripik, Kefir dan Sherbet Dengan Bahan Dasar Biji Nangka Pada Ibu-Ibu PKK Di Desa Wisata Bantaragung Majalengka. Permasalahan yang dihadapi pada daerah PKM yakni: pertama, minimnya pengetahuan anggota PKK terhadap manfaat biji Nangka karena selama ini anggota PKK tidak pernah mengolahnya dan dianggap limbah. Kedua, minimnya kemampuan peserta PKK dalam pemanfaatan teknologi informasi sebagai sarana sosial media. Laporan PKM ini menjelaskan solusi atas minimnya keterampilan dalam pemanfaatan biji Nangka sebagai diversifikasi pangan, pemberian materi pemanfaatan biji nangka untuk ide bekal usaha, memberikan pelatihan pembuatan produk untuk memanfaatkan biji nangka, dan membantu mempromosikan destinasi wisata melalui media sosial. Persiapan yang dilakukan adalah melakukan perjanjian dengan Kepala Desa Wisata Bantaragung, mempersiapkan dokumen yang dibutuhkan, membuat kartu resep, mempersiapkan alat dan bahan, dan mempersiapkan buah tangan untuk peserta. Jalannya kegiatan PkM sangat baik dan lancar sehingga membuahkan hasil yang memuaskan.
The purpose of this study is to identify the potential for culinary tourism in Solo and then find out how much influence it has on the interest of tourist visiting Solo, and from these result it is intended to formulate a strategy for developing culinary tourism in City of Solo which can attract tourist visits to make return visits to City of Solo. This research is a combination of quantitative and qualitative research. Quantitative data analysis was performed by hypothesis testing and coefficient determination to confirm effects expressed as percentage. Meanwhile, qualitative data analysis was continuously conducted in the field and interactively to support, and enrich the data derived from quantitative data. As for the culinary spots themselves, City of Solo has several potential spots in traditional markets, as well as those supported by the government. Based on the analysis, the research shows the impact of culinary tourism on the interest of tourists visiting the city of Solo. The effect of tourist attraction on the interest of tourists visiting the city of Solo is 65.5% and is a significant and positive influence. Then the strategy carried out by the Solo City government for the development of culinary tourism, among others, is to maintain a clean, healthy, neat, and beautiful city. In this case, it can be seen that culinary tourism in a destination such as Solo City can be used as an attraction for tourists so that it can affect the increase in tourist visits.
Data menunjukkan bahwa selama pandemi penurunan penjualan sebesar lebih dari 75% dialami oleh 47,44% usaha penjualan offline/fisik, 40,17% usaha penjualan online, dan 39,41% usaha dengan metode penjualan offline sekaligus online. Melihat angka penurunan penjualan ini, tidak banyak UMKM yang kemudian melakukan perluasan pasar melalui ekosistem digital. Kelompok usaha Gollu Rade merupakan UMKM yang mau memperluas jangkauan pasar keluar area penjualannya saat ini dan salah satunya adalah dengan ekosistem digital melalui menjualan di marketplace dan dengan melalukan pemasaran media sosial. Namun dalam pengembangan usahanya, kelompok usaha ini mengalami beberapa kesulitan, diantaranya permasalahan mengenai biaya pengiriman yang cukup tinggi, kurangnya pengetahuan mengenai penggunaan media sosial sebagai media pemasaran, dan kurangnya kemampuan untuk membuat desain media pemasaran. Beranjak dari permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh kelompok usaha Gollu Rade ini, mahasiswa dan dosen Fakultas Pariwisata Pelita Harapan bekerjasama dengan Service Learning Program memberikan pelatihan melalui kegiatan PkM kepada kelompok usaha Gollu Rade. Kegiatan ini dilakukan secara daring dengan tujuan memberikan pengetahuan serta meningkatkan kemampuan kelompok usaha ini dalam menggunakan dan memanfaatkan marketplace untuk memperluas jangkauan penjualan sekaligus juga diajarkan mengenai penggunaan media sosial sebagai salah satu media pemasaran. Pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi Canva ditujukan agar dapat membuat desain sederhana yang dapat digunakan dalam pemasaran media sosial ataupun pemasaran offline. Anggota kelompok usaha Gollu Rade melalui evaluasi kegiatan menyatakan bahwa mereka mendapatkan pengetahuan baru yang sebelumnya tidak mereka ketahui dan akan menggunakan pengetahuan dan keahlian baru ini untuk memperluas penjualan produk mereka.
The number of tourist activities in the Mandeh Tourism Area must be supported by the appropriate tourism concept in its development. By paying attention to the potential possessed by the Mandeh Tourism Area, a development concept that is following its potential is needed, namely sustainable tourism development. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the conditions and potential of tourism as well as the tourist constraints of the Mandeh Tourism Area in implementing sustainable tourism and to contribute to the development of sustainable tourism in West Sumatra Province. This study uses a mixed - method research approach that combines field observation, documentation, direct interviews and distributing questionnaires to 100 visitors who visited the Mandeh Tourism Area. The results obtained are that the condition of sustainable tourism in the Mandeh Tourism Area is currently still in the process of being developed following the document of the tourism development master plan of West Sumatra Province in the Revision of Planning for Tourism Objects in the Mandeh Region. Where in the development scenario, the Mandeh Tourism Area is at the exploration stage in the form of a tourist area life cycle and is still in a condition for community involvement, tourism activists from business actors and philanthropists in the form of providing the necessary infrastructure and tourism support facilities. The potential for sustainable tourism in the Mandeh Tourism Area, namely marine tourism with a variety of supporting tourist attractions, is expected to increase the interest of tourist visits. However, the current Covid-19 pandemic is a major obstacle in developing tourism in the Mandeh Region. The concept of sustainable tourism development applied by the Mandeh Tourism Area requires a strategy that is based on a small-scale approach, local management, and provides benefits to the community at large.
