Spontaneous perirenal hematoma is ususally associated with underlying renal cell carcinoma, angiomyolipoma and vasculr disorders. We recently experienced the spontaneous perirenal hematoma due to renal infart in a sixty-seven-year old female patient with diabetes mellitus. It was suggested that uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, hyertension and old age may be the risk factors of renal infacrt, and advanced atherosclerotic vascular change may be one of the cause of spontaneous renal rupture and perirenal hematoma.
