In experiments on mice undergone to an acute hypercapnic hypoxia and an acute hypobaric hypoxia a screening of antihypoxants among new selenium containing metal complex substances was performed after their intra-abdominal and oral introductions. It was found that substances Q1983 and Q2170 on both models of hypoxia make the defensive effects surpassing actions well-known antihypoxants such as amthizole and bemythil. It was established that antihypoxiс affects of studied substances depend on their caused hypothermia. For the fi rst time the protective action of selenium containing metal complex compounds was demonstrated after their introduction per os.

The article presents results of research on the dynamics of bioimpedance unfixed isolated frog heart, after stimulation by adrenaline and application to the myocardium selenium-containing metal complex substance πQ1983. Experiments were performed on 30 meadow winter frogs Rana temporaria, which previously divided into experimental (n = 15) and control (n = 15) groups. Registration impedance cardiogram and electrocardiogram isolated heart were performed ex vivo on its own procedure using computer rheographic installation Reospektr (Neurosoft, Russia).It has been established that the antihypoxia substance πQ1983 has a mild cardiodepressive direct action, which mainly manifested by reduced frequency characteristics of the heart muscle. Application ex vivo of the substance πQ1983 in a concentration of 0.01% significantly increases the stability the myocardium of the frog to adrenal stimulation, prolonging its mechanical and electrical activity that complemented the concepts of the mechanisms implementing antihypoxic effect of the compounds studied.

Influence of new antihypoxant πq1983 on mice conditioned reflexes

The dynamic of active avoidance reaction in consist of a defense conditioned reflex after intragastric administration of new selenium-containing metal-complex substances πQ1983 (100 mg/kg) possessing protective action during development of acute exogenous hypoxia in animal have been studied in experiments on mice. Timing data of the active avoidance reaction in experiments on formerly trained mice under action of this substance used in same doze were analyzed. It was established that substance πQ1983 blocks formation of conditioned reflex. In the group of trained mice antihypoxant πQ1983 increases a latent period of the avoidance reaction and decreases the avoidance time. All found effects provided by intragastric administration of the antihypoxant were short-term (15– 20 h) and reversible. The results were compared with effects of antihypoxant amthizole.

In experiments on mice the influence of the new antihypoxants (selenium containing metal complex substances πQ1983, πQ2170) on rectal temperature level dynamic after parenteral and enteral introductions was studied. It is established that both substances perform clear dose-dependent hypothermic effect exceeding an action of the antihypoxant amthizole. Was supposed that substance πQ2170 has high acute toxicity affirmed by significant mice death-rate.
