In this paper,the training objectives for automation specialty in Zhejiang Sci-Tech University is summarized, the construction background of control system courses group for the Automation specialty is described and current situation and existed problems for courses group is analyzed. Moreover,the overall thinking of control system courses group is cleared by combining with the characteristics of automation specialty in our school and the capability demand for graduates from automation major,and the optimal ways and integrating methods of control theory courses and practice teaching were presented. The automation specialty in our school has carried out mainly reform practice of control system courses group,including curriculum system and its teaching contents,teaching method and means,practice teaching, construction of the teaching team and teaching quality management. The favorable effect has been obtained in the practice teaching.
