Overweight and obesity are in the rising trend and is growing as a worldwide problem. In this study, the purposes were to investigate positive and negative eating habits and obesity stress on the basis of a BMI of female college students. This study was performed 316 female college students have been carried out, data analysis methods are SPSS WIN 18.0. The results of this study are as follows; The results of the recognition about the state of her body on the basis of BMI are appeared in 23.1% underweight, 65.8% normal weight,8.9% overweight, 2.2% obesity so that the difference between subjective perception of each group and BMI was very high(p<.001). In the eating habit survey, as the results of three apex of positive and negative eating habit divided by the average index, the result of positive eating habit index was overally high. In the results that is investigated by the average index of 5point scale according to BMI and detail subfactors, the overweight group showed the highest psychological stress and physical stress index(p <.001). From these results, most of the subjects falsely recognized of her physical condition and even the students who don``t require the weight control tried to weight control.
