Near infrared transmittance spectroscopy ranging from 643.26nm to 928.35nm was investigated for its feasibility to determine the soluble solid content of apple nondestructively. The characteristic wavelength bands of SSC were searched by interval partial least square (iPLS) regression, The detection of near-infrared spectroscopy models of SSC were developed. Calibration models of the soluble solids content of apple gave the correlation coefficient of 0.937875, with a standard error of calibration of 0.380498, a standard error of prediction of 0.463898, and a bias of -0.001484. The study shows that the Near Spectroscopy was feasible to nondestructively measure the sugar content of apple.
This paper is about the application of near infrared spectra analyzing technique for non-destructive measurement of fruit's internal qualities. The principle of near infrared spectra and analysis procedure are briefly introduced and the latest study circs of this fields are described, some considerable aspects existing in the researches are also pointed out, then the possible research trend for the future is assumed at the end of the paper.
In this paper different scan manners to 'Nanguo' pears by Near Infrared instrument was studied according to the theory of Near Infrared spectrum . Calibration test for total acid content, effective acidity of 80 samples by different points scanning were carried out by the system. Calibration results indicated the correlation coefficient and SEC have achieved the application level. The variance analysis for 20 samples prediction value showed that it existed marked diversity during models .The results confirmed that 180 ° running scan for 2 times was a credible, fast, easily operational manner.
