O objetivo do presente estudo foi realizar um levantamento de fatores associados ao estresse ocupacional a partir dos sintomas fisicos e psicologicos observados entre os individuos avaliados. Para tanto, foram entrevistados 25 funcionarios de uma drogaria localizada no Municipio de Imperatriz, mediante aplicacao de um roteiro contendo questoes relacionadas as caracteristicas e aos sintomas relacionados ao estado fisico e psicologico dos avaliados. As entrevistas foram realizadas no periodo de outubro a dezembro de 2010. Diante dos resultados obtidos, observou-se, entre os investigados, a prevalencia do sexo feminino (72%), com idade entre 21-30 anos (92%), casados (52%) e ensino medio completo(88%). Observouse ainda que o cansaco foi o sintoma fisico predominante e a ansiedade como o sintoma psicologico mais frequentemente relatado pelos entrevistados. Diante disso, levar o conhecimento e promover a discussao sobre os fatores de estresse podem contribuir para a busca de melhores condicoes de trabalho e interferir na qualidade de vida e no desempenho profissional dos funcionarios de drogarias. OCCUPATIONAL STRESS: psychological and physical factors among employees of drugstores Abstract: The purpose of this study was to conduct a survey of factors associated to occupational stress from the physical and psychological symptoms observed among the evaluated individuals. To this end, 25 employees of a drugstore in Imperatriz - MA, by applying a script containing questions related to the characteristics and symptoms related to the physical and psychological state of the interviewed. The interviews were conducted from October to December, 2010. Based on the results, it was observed among those investigated, the prevalence of females (72%), aged 21-30 years old (92%), married (52%) and graduated in high school (88%). It was also observed that fatigue was the predominant physical symptom and anxiety as the psychological symptoms most frequently reported by respondents. Therefore, raising awareness and promoting discussion about the stress factors can contribute to the search for better working conditions and interfere in the quality of life and in the work performance of the drugstore employees. OCUPACIONAL ESTRES: factores fisicos y psicologicos entre los empleados de farmacia Resumen: El objetivo de este estudio fue una encuesta de factores asociados con el estres laboral de los sintomas fisicos y psicologicos observados entre las personas estudiadas. Con este fin, se entrevisto a 25 empleados de una farmacia ubicada en la ciudad de la emperatriz, mediante la aplicacion de una secuencia de comandos que contiene preguntas relacionadas con las caracteristicas y sintomas relacionados con el estado fisico y psicologico de la muestra. Las entrevistas se realizaron entre octubre y diciembre de 2010. En base a estos resultados, se observo en los investigados, la prevalencia de mujeres (72%), con edades 21-30 anos (92%), casados (52%) y secundaria (88%). Tambien se observo que la fatiga es el sintoma predominante fisico y la ansiedad ya que los sintomas psicologicos mas frecuentemente reportados por los encuestados. Por lo tanto, la sensibilizacion y promover la discusion de los factores de estres pueden contribuir a la busqueda de mejores condiciones de trabajo e interfieren con la calidad de vida y rendimiento en el trabajo de la farmacia de los empleados. Medicines constitute important part of available therapeutic resources, and are often the option with the best cost/benefit profile. The prescription drug is the starting point for practicing proper drug therapy. The knowledge of the prescription pattern from a determined location enables better management of pharmaceutical assistance. This study aimed to characterize the prescription pattern of drug in the units of the Family Health Program in Imperatriz - MA. With this purpose 60 patients were interviewed and 71 medication prescriptions were evaluated, in the period of February to March of 2011.Prescription indicators proposed by the World Health Organization (WHO) were calculated based on these prescriptions, and the drugs prescribed were classified according to the WHO’s Anatomical Therapeutical Chemical classification. It was observed that 35% of respondents held a consultation per month and the main reason is related to digestive problems. Of the total of 94 prescription drugs, the drug average per prescription was 1.3 and 92% of them were prescribed by their generic names. The antiparasitic drugs stood out as the most prescribed therapeutic class (17%) and the oral route was more indicated (70%), and in this study it was not observed prescribing injectable drugs. In 16% of the prescriptions drug found the prescription of antibiotics. The majority of these drugs (76%) was part of the municipal standardized medication list and national list of essential drugs – RENAME. Compared to most prescription indicators investigated, the PSF’s units are in good condition compared to other places investigated. Furthermore, most of the prescribed drugs were part of those standardized by the city.
