Etiology of chronic pelvic pain was researched in 142 female patients by using laparoscopy. The results showed as follows: The preoperative pelvic examination found that 120 cases (84. 50%) were caused by 5 gynecologic factors, 6 cases (4. 23 %) were caused by metal factor, 16 cases(11. 27%) were caused by unknawn factor. Laparoscopy found that 130 cases (91. 55 % ) were caused by 8 gynecological factors, 5 cases (3. 52%) were caused by 3 surgical factors, 2 cases (1. 41 % ) were caused by metal factor, 5 cases (3. 52%) were caused by unknown factor. Laparoscopy revealed that chronic pelvic inflammatory disease (40- 14% ) and endometriosis (32. 39 % ) were the most common cause: the error in clinical diagnosis on the two diseases was respectively 28. 57 % and 30. 30% 3 the error between them was 19. 12 %; the error on traumatic laceration of uterine support and non-gynecological factors was 100%. The above indicated that eticology of chronic pelvic pain is complex; the error in etiologic diagnosis by preoperative pelvic examination alone is very high ; laparoscopy is an extremely valuable means for giving the definitive diagnosis on etiology of chronic pelvic pain.
To investigate the antidepressant-like effect of active fraction of Polyrhachis vicina Roger (AFPR) in a rat depression model, and to elucidate the underlying mechanism. AFPR was extracted with ethanol followed by petroleum ether. Its antidepressant-like effect was investigated in mice by tail suspension test (TST), forced swimming test (FST) and open field test (OPT). A repeated dose of reserpine (0.5 mg/kg, daily for 14 d) was used to establish a rat depression model. Fluoxetine was used as positive control agent. The effect of AFPR on reserpine-induced ptosis, hypothermia and akinesia, the levels of monoamines and their metabolites, and the activity of monoamine oxidase (MAO) in hippocampus and prefrontal cortex were determined. Administration of AFPR by gavage at 160 and 320 mg/kg significantly reduced the duration of immobility in the FST and TST, and did not affect locomotor activity in the OPT. In the reserpine-induced depression model, AFPR attenuated anhedonia, demonstrated by reversing hypothermia, akinesia and sucrose consumption. AFPR significantly increased the concentration of monoamines, including dopamine, serotonin, noradrenaline and acetylcholine. AFPR normalized the metabolism rates of noradrenaline, serotonin and dopamine, and the activity of MAO, which were altered by chronic reserpine exposure. The findings suggest that modulation of the monoaminergic neurotransmitter system likely underlies the antidepressant-like effect of AFPR.
Second language literacy research in recent years has attended to emerging genres and various literacy practices.Less explored, however, are the innovative ways of meaning-making and communication facilitated by the use of multimodal resources in a foreign-language context. To bridge the gap, this study investigates how a Chinese-English bilingual speaker coordinates and orchestrates design elements in her vlogs and how decision makings are informed by various factors.Interview data and vlog analysis show that the participant is skillful in using digital technologies, anticipating audiences' needs, fulfilling rhetorical purposes, and negotiating with constraining contextual factors. This study challenges the view that learners in an EFL country have limited opportunities to use the language due to the lack of contact with the target language community. It also suggests that EFL educators could build on what learners do on their own while encouraging them to repurpose the use of vlogs and mobile technologies.
Objective To study the effect of sodium alginate-poly-L-lysine-sodium alginate (APA) microencapsulated immunoisolation technology on the growth characteristic and differentiation of bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs).Methods The APA-MSCs was made by the pulsed high-voltage electrostatic microcapsule instrument. The MSCs' Survival rate in the APA microcapsule was determined by the fluorescein diacetate/thidium bromide (FDA/EB) double staining. The capsules were broken by the centrifuge. And then the MSCs were cllected, cultured and observed their shape and potential of bone formation. Results The survival rate of the MSCs in APA microcapsule was about 70%-80%.The MSCs out of APA microcapsule showed active proliferation capacity in vitro and its bone formation potential was confirmed by alizarin red staining. Conclusions The MSCs has a good survival in APA microcapsules.Their differentiation is maintained.APA microcapsule could be used for immunoisolation of MSCs.
Abstract With the increasingly popular use of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) tools in writing, a common policy regarding GenAI use requires students to self-disclose such use in writing. However, many students, especially second language (L2) writers, are concerned that disclosing GenAI use might negatively impact how teachers evaluate their work. This study, therefore, intends to investigate the potential impact of GenAI disclosure on L2 writing assessment. This study employs a mixed-method design to measure the statistical differences between grades received under different disclosure conditions and explore potential reasons for discrepancies. The quantitative analysis shows that teachers tend to score the essays lower when they are informed that GenAI tools are involved in the writing process. The interview data suggest that teachers might make assumptions about the student author’s writing ability and GenAI’s influence on writing, with some participants acknowledging their bias against GenAI use in writing. The study lends empirical evidence to the concern about GenAI disclosure and provides suggestions for improving mutual trust between teachers and students and rethinking L2 writing assessment in the age of GenAI.
Objective To study whether the coasting plate can be used repeatedly, the quality of coating plate produced in our country was investigated, and this Assisting method can be used to detect the quality of coating plate. Methods Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay was used to detect the used coating plate. Results We found that the product of seven firms in totaling ten firms can be used repeatedly, and the results are reliable. The product of three firms can not be used repeatedly. Conclusion With the development of method and coating quality, repeated use of coating plate may be realized.
