Through searching about several cases of Chinese enterprises suffered by trade barriers, competitive intelligence is found operating as notice,pre-alarming and answering-up through tailing, transferring and spreading. And the two main functional routes of competitive intelligence are spreading about enterprises and spreading about government and agencies.
The popularity of social networking websites has spurred wide applications of socializing functions in online marketplaces, making them social commerce platforms. In the effort of promoting business and building brand, a large number of small-sized online retailers (e-tailers) increasingly rely on online socializing initiatives to stay in touch with peers, exchange social information with past and potential buyers, and seek and contribute knowledge in online communities. However, whether and how online socializing efforts enhance e-tailers’ business performances have yet to be systematically examined. Grounded in social capital and social network theories, a typology of e-tailers’ online social activities is proposed. The typology takes into consideration two distinguishing features of e-tailers’ online social activities: the decoupling of friend-making activities and knowledge exchanging activities in online marketplaces and the traceability of the directionality of the activities. Using data collected from a large electronic commerce platform in China, we show that: (1) e-tailers’ friend-making activities improve their business performance, regardless of the directional attribute of the activities; (2) sharing knowledge increases e-tailers’ business performance; seeking knowledge without properly sharing decreases e-tailers’ business performance. Theoretical and practical implications of e-tailers’ online social activities are discussed.
Abstract Background Raising older adults’ frailty knowledge level and encouraging them to actively engage in the prevention and treatment of frailty is important to promote healthy aging. This study aimed to investigate frailty knowledge level and its influencing factors among community-dwelling older adults in China. Methods This cross-sectional study included a total of 734 community-dwelling older adults in China. A self-designed questionnaire was used to assess their frailty knowledge level. Logistic regression and decision tree analysis were used to examine the association between the following factors and frailty knowledge level: gender, age, residential area, co-residence, marital status, education level, monthly income, pension insurance, smoking status, drinking status, exercise status, body mass index, type of chronic disease, number of oral medications, nutritional status, cognitive status, depression, social activity, social isolation, and frailty. Results Most of the participants (mean age 72.01, standard deviation 9.45) were female (51.1%) and living with a spouse (76.4%). They knew little about frailty and had misunderstandings about frailty. Nearly half of them made a wrong judgment on their frailty status (42.50%). Most participants expected to obtain frailty knowledge in the community (33.92%). Those who were female, lived in rural areas, lived alone, had not attended school, had a monthly income < 3,000RMB, were at risk for malnutrition, were depressed, and were socially isolated were more likely to lack knowledge on frailty. In contrast, those with advanced age and were at pre-frailty or frailty stage were significantly more knowledgeable about frailty. The group that was least knowledgeable about frailty was those who had never attended school or primary school and had loose friend ties (1.3%). Conclusion Frailty knowledge level among older adults in China is low, especially among those at high risk for frailty. Therefore, it is crucial to develop tailored measures to raise frailty knowledge level among older adults in China.
The preventive maintenance of medical instruments is very important in field hospital. Because of effective preventive maintenance, the ultrasonic instrument ran normally and efficiently in field hospital. The method of preventive maintenance are introduced, including quakeproof, power supply, hot moist resistance, dustproof, antijam, probe maintenance, etc. These maintenance methods can provide reference for diversified military affairs.
In order to establish low-cost and strongly-immersive desktop virtual experiment system, a solution based on Kinect and Unity3D engine technology was herein proposed, with a view to applying Kinect gesture recognition and triggering more spontaneous human-computer interactions in three-dimensional virtual environment. A kind of algorithm tailored to the detection of concave-convex points of fingers is put forward to identify various gestures and interaction semantics. In the context of Unity3D, Finite-State Machine (FSM) programming was applied in intelligent management for experimental logic tasks. A "Virtual Experiment System for Electrician Training" was designed and put into practice by these methods. The applications of "Lighting Circuit" module prove that these methods can be satisfyingly helpful to complete virtual experimental tasks and improve user experience. Compared with traditional WIMP interaction, Kinect somatosensory interaction is combined with Unity3D so that three-dimensional virtual system with strong immersion can be established.
In order to build an examination server communication layer with large-scale response, high data throughput and reasonable resource consumption, analyses the key issues of information identifying, resource management, message sequence dealing in the development of IOCP.Proposes improved methods of memory pool, object pool, ring buffer, and on this basis designs and realizes high-performance and scalable network exam system communication module based on IOCP.The application shows this module can improve the network exam server performance.
Despite the technological advances in adapting web user interfaces to the small display of handhelds, the role that task nature plays in the formation of user attitude towards adaptive interface designs remains largely unknown. This study compares user readiness towards adaptive web interface design under different task contexts. Capturing such a situated user attitude is valuable for the designers of mobile websites to engage in user–centred design, enhance user experiences, and ultimately improve the viability of mobile information services. Based on a review of relevant theoretical frameworks, a research model was hypothesised and tested with experimental data. The results support the concept that mobile users are generally positive about adaptive interface design, and their preferences are more salient for complex tasks than for routine tasks.
A 4-1BB/CD3-ζ-costimulated CAR-T against CD20 (CAR-T20) was subjected to a systemic efficacy evaluation in a cell co-culture model, and NOD-SCID IL-2 receptor gamma null mice (short for NSG mice) were xenografted with human Burkitt's lymphoma Raji cells.CAR-T20 cells were incubated with target cells (K562, K562 CD20 or Raji cells) at ratios of 10:1 and 5:1 for 24 h, and the killing rate was estimated by an LDH cytotoxicity assay. To evaluate the effect of CAR-T20 on the survival time of tumor-bearing animals, 30 NSG mice were employed, and Raji-Luc cells (5 × 105 cells per mouse) were administered prior to CAR-T20 administration. The survival time, optical intensity of Raji-Luc cells, clinical symptoms, and body mass of the animals were observed. Another 144 male NSG mice were employed to investigate the proliferation and antitumor effects of CAR-T20. Human cytokine and murine cytokines were detected at 1, 7, 14, 21, 28, 42, 56 and 90 days post-CAR-T administration, while biochemistry index analysis, T-cell and CAR-T-cell detection in peripheral blood, and histopathological examination were performed at 14, 28, 56 and 90 days post-administration.CAR-T20 cells had a specific killing effect on CD20-expressing cells in vitro. At a dose of 1 × 106 per mouse or above, CAR-T20 prolonged the median survival time from 14 days to more than 3 months, inhibited the proliferation of Raji cells in mice, and alleviated the clinical manifestations and weight loss caused by the Raji-Luc cell load. CAR-T20 at a dose of 2 × 106 per mouse or above inhibited the proliferation of Raji cells in mice for up to 111 days post-administration without recurrence. The numbers of T cells and CAR-T cells in the animals administered CAR-T20 increased significantly when Raji cells were markedly proliferated and subsequently decreased when Raji cells were predominantly inhibited. CAR-T20 increased human IFN-γ, murine TNF and murine IL-6 levels and decreased human IL-10 levels in tumor-bearing mice. The incidences of xenografted tumors in organs/tissues were also reduced effectively by CAR-T20.The effective dose of CAR-T20 in mice starts from 1 × 106 per mouse, equivalent to a clinical dose of 5 × 106/kg. Together, our data support the clinical translation of CAR-T20 for R/R B-cell NHL patients.
