The purpose of this study is to build a travel route information system with synchronization of ferry crossing schedules that will help tourists and residents who will go to Samosir to determine travel routes based on the time and ship schedules available at the port and help develop accessibility development in Samosir, especially in travel route information. The development of this system applies the agile Kanban method to the to-do process on the kanban board. We also used Dijkstra algorithm here for routing due to small number of port for efficiency. The results obtained are web-based and mobile-based travel route information systems. In this case, the web is used to manage information data that will be displayed on the mobile application, while the mobile is used by tourists to find out a list of travel routes from both land and water routes that have been synchronized with the ferry departure schedule, as well as providing information on tourist attractions and the location of supporting facilities with user's destination. By using this application user could shorten the search time up to approximately 15 minutes.
Currently, the Lake Toba area is included in one of the 10 priority tourism destination locations, so there are challenges to make changes to world tourism trends that utilize digital technology. So that several strategies must be carried out to capture these opportunities, one of which is through digitalization. For this reason, the development of a tourist village website in the Lake Toba area needs to be carried out to be able to take advantage of digital technology as a promotional media. The method applied in developing a tourist village website is the waterfall. The reason for implementing the waterfall method in developing a tourist village website is because all the requirements obtained from the client are clear and there are no more changes in the middle of implementation. The website displays good photography works and is equipped with the concept of story-telling. In addition to obtaining information about tourism in the Lake Toba area, the community can be directly involved as actors in tourism activities. Thus, a website manager will be formed in each tourist village of the Lake Toba Region. From the results of the development, it was found that the community's introduction to tourist villages in Lake Toba is increasing
Lake Toba region is included in one of the 10 priority tourism destination locations. To answer the challenges of changing world tourism trends that utilize digital technology, several strategies must be carried out. In digitizing the process, it is necessary to involve the local community in formulating regulations, strengthening value chain partnerships between businesses in the tourism sector, increasing motivation and enabling the community through various kinds of assistance and training. Therefore, research is conducted that has the aim to develop the tourism potential of the Lake Toba Region through digitalization with the concept of community empowerment. As the output of this research, a community will be formed in each Lake Toba District, so that based on this community various development policies and strategies can be formulated in overcoming problems and developing the tourism sector in the Lake Toba region.

The oven machine for drying food products currently still uses technology that is operated manually. To be more efficient, we designed research to utilize IoT technology to simplify the process of temperature monitoring and automation. The purpose of this research is to design an internet of things (IoT) based drying oven machine, the heat energy source is designed to be able to heat from geothermal energy. Furthermore, the heat through the cylinder wall which functions as a heat exchanger, resulting in heat transfer from the heat storage pipe to the air in the room. The Internet of Things (IoT) system works as a monitoring (monitoring) process that runs well. Based on the results obtained, the drying is quite efficient which can provide heat to the dryer with an efficiency of 82% of the temperature of the hot water source. For IoT equipment that has been designed to be able to read temperature accurately and help the process of monitoring temperature and humidity in the room.
Lake Toba is the largest lake in Indonesia and the largest volcanic lake in the world. Lake Toba has unique cultures and area which makes the area as tourism destination either for local tourists or overseas tourists. Because of that, information related to Lake Toba is important for the development of Lake Toba tourism. These information are the tourists' opinion about hotel service, accommodation, transportation and the other things related to Lake Toba tourism. These information can be obtained from social media used by the society. Both society and tourists usually use social media for telling their experiences or for assessing something that is or has been done. As a result, it can be the most potential sources of information. By applying opinion mining technique and using social media twitter as a data source, the information can be gathered, processed and classified into three categories: positive, negative and neutral in order to be used by various stakeholders. This research gathers data from tweets in social media Twitter using Indonesian language and combines Lexicon Based and Naïve Bayes. Lexicon Based method is processed for labelling data training which will be used for classification in data testing. Naïve Bayes method is processed for calculating and classifying data testing into three categories: positive, negative and neutral. The result of this research is 82% the accuracy of data and 0.85 F-measure in classifying data correctly.
