Objective:To investigate the clinical value of MR SPACE technique in the demonstration and diagnosis of lumbosacral spinal nerve root diseases.Methods:31cases of suspected lumbosacral nerve root disease and 8healthy volunteers were recruited,to observe the source images of SPACE technique and MIP reconstruction in the demonstration of spinal nerve roots. Both conventional MRI sequences and SPACE sequence for coronal images were performed. All images were post-processed with 3Dmaximum intensity projection(3D MIP)technique,to study the morphology and course of nerve roots and the relation with lesions. Results:The SPACE technique could clearly display the degree of invasion and compression of nerve roots by the lesion.Of the 31 suspected cases, there were disk herniation(15cases),nerve root cyst(4cases),nerve root anomaly(3cases),spinal nerve root injury(3cases),primary neurogenic tumor(3cases)and metastatic tumor involving lumbosacral plexus(3cases).Conclusion:SPACE sequence has predominant advantage in showing the anatomy of lumbosacral spinal nerve-root and provide satisfactory basis for the diagnosis of lumbosacral nerve root diseases in clinical practice.
Objective To investigate the clinical effects of esomeprazole combined therapy in radical treatment of peptic ulcer(PU)caused by Helicobacter pylori(HP).Methods 100 cases of peptic ulcer patients with HP infection were randomly divided into treatment groups(50 cases, treated by esomeprazole+clarithromycin+amoxicillin)and control group(50 cases, treated by omeprazole+clarithromycin+amoxicillin). After a course of treatment,The healing of ulcer and eradication rate of Hp were observed. Results The healing rate and total effective rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P0.05).There was no statistical difference in the rate of HP eradication between both groups(P0.05).Conclusion The healing rate and total effective rate of the combined therapy with esomeprazole plus clarithromycin and amoxicillin are much better than that of the method with omeprazole plus clarithromycin and amoxicillin triple therapy with a relatively lower HP eradication rate.
To evaluate the control of a 2009 pandemic influenza A(H1N1) outbreak in an international school, and provide scientific evidence for the control of 2009 pandemic influenza A(H1N1) outbreak.Non pharmaceutical interventions, such as school closure, isolation and treatment of cases, were carried out.A questionnaire survey was conducted among the students and teachers to identify the infection source.Throat swabs were taken form the all cases for testing. The outbreak was caused by an imported case from Singapore.Twelve cases of 2009 pandemic influenza virus infections were reported during this outbreak lasted for 8 day.The attack rate was 2.61%(12/460).The generation time was 65.2 hours(range 32-96 hours).School was closed for 7 days when attack rate reached 0.89%(4/46).The outbreak was caused by an imported case.Early school closure(attack rate﹤1%) could effectively control the outbreak of 2009 pandemic influenza A(H1N1),and provide theoretical evidence for the control of influenza pandemic.
The study applies the multiple-intelligence theory to student assessment of biology teaching to stimulate the potential of students so that they can play to their strengths in biological class. With an improved interest in biology class, students can participate in the learning activity more positively. Consequently, the overall development of students as well as the intelligent personality is fully demonstrated.
