espanolEl Rio Santiago es hoy en dia uno de los contextos ambientales mas contaminados como resultado de la actividad antropogenica e industrial, representa a simple vista la exposicion a multiples sustancias quimicas y a agentes biologicos que ahi concurren y que impactan en la salud de los pobladores del Salto y Juanacatlan Jalisco. Objetivo. Establecer el estado del arte en cuanto a la contaminacion ambiental y los riesgos asociados por exposicion a residuos peligrosos y agentes biologicos con los que convive la poblacion humana en este contexto socio-ambiental. Material y metodos. Se realizo una revision sistematica de la informacion presente en la red y se realizo un analisis critico de la realidad objetiva presente actualmente en este contexto. Resultados. De un total de 15 referencias detectadas, 2 corresponden a videos de Instituto Mexicano de Desarrollo Comunitario [IMDEC], parte 1 y parte 2, ademas se detectaron fotografias que denotan un contexto socio-ambiental contaminado y una referencia con la manifestacion de GREENSPACE. Conclusion. Los titulos de los articulos en su incidente expresion “Veneno” y los casos de cancer visibles en los videos de IMDEC, los riesgos asociados en la salud humana, subrayan la intervencion necesaria ya de las autoridades en busqueda del control en cuanto a calidad ambiental y una revision emergente en cuanto a legislacion ambiental. Material and methods. We conducted a systematic review of the information present in the network and made a critical analysis of the objective reality currently present in this context. Results. Of a total of 15 references detected, 2 correspond to video of the Mexican Institute for Community Development (IMDEC], part 1 and Part 2, Furthermore it detected photographs that denote a socio-environmental contaminated and a reference to the expression of GREENSPACE. Objective.To determine the CPO-D indices / IHOS in patient with Diabetes Mellitus of Tulancingo Hidalgo, Mexico.Material and Methods.A descriptive observational transverse character study was conducted for 10 people of both sexes and aged 30/60 years with a diagnosis of DM, the determination of the plaque plate is performed by means of revealing tablets to calculate the IHOS (index simplified Oral Hygiene) and the CPO-D index was determined by means of descriptive observation, by means of the method of clinical examination.Results.Of the 10 patients examined, 100% represented dental plaque and cavities, not with the same index relationship existing between two factors such as; visit to the dentist, poor dental hygiene, poor brushing technique and null or inappropriate use of thread dental and mouth rinse.
Aim. To describe academic stress, stressors and coping in dental students at the Metropolitan University Studies Center Hidalgo [CEUMH]. Methodology. This is a cross-sectional descriptive observational study based on a probabilistic sample of 69 dental students, distributed in a stratified manner by year of studies: first (n = 12), third (n = 14), fifth (n = 18), seventh (n = 10) and eighth (n = 15). The measurement of the academic stress variable was made through the validated SISCO Inventory questionnaire, which evaluates: academic stressors, stress manifestations, and coping strategies. Academic performance variable was measured through the student's average grade at the end of the previous four-month period Results. 93% reported presenting stress with an intensity of 3.5, on a scale of 1 to 5. The stressors were: overload of tasks and work and exams. The main physical reactions presented by the students were sleep disorders [22%]. And food consumption; increase or reduction of food consumption. The coping strategies were; elaboration of a plan and execution of tasks with 41% and assertive ability to defend our preferences, ideas or feelings without harming others, with 34%. Average academic performance was 8.17, in a population of 46 students from different quarters. The level of student stress is high with a level of 4 on a scale of 1 to 5. Conclusion. Stress is a determining factor in school activities. Among the coping strategies, counseling sessions and development of research projects must be implemented . Although being stressors, a health professional without a scientific profile would become a non positive professional for the development of this academic area. The above requires continuous evaluation processes that allow feedback.
