We report a single-frequency linearly polarized Q -switched fiber laser based on an Nb 2 GeTe 4 saturable absorber (SA). The Nb 2 GeTe 4 SA triggers passive Q -switching of the laser, and an un-pumped Yb-doped fiber together with a 0.08-nm-bandwidth polarization-maintaining fiber Bragg grating (FBG) acts as an ultra-narrow bandwidth filter to realize single-longitudinal-mode (SLM) oscillation. The devices used in the laser are all kept polarized, so as to ensure linearly polarized laser output. Stable SLM linearly polarized Q -switching operation at 1064.6 nm is successfully achieved, producing a laser with a shortest pulse width of 1.36 μs, a linewidth of 28.4 MHz, a repetition rate of 28.3 kHz–95.9 kHz, and a polarization extinction ratio of about 30 dB. It is believed that the single-frequency linearly polarized pulsed fiber laser studied in this paper has great application value in gravitational wave detection, beam combining, nonlinear frequency conversion, and other fields.
In p-Si TFT-OLEDs, spatial variation of threshold voltage(△VT) in TFT driving circuits leads to non-uniform brightness and poor grayscale accuracy. Consequently, special pixel driver circuits are designed to overcome such diffi-culties.In this paper, performances of important circuits, which are divided in-toTFT-OLED analog and digital pixel driver circuits,are closely analyzed and limited liability of design is pointed out, where suggestions of grayscale accu-racy improvement are made.
Background The aim of this study is to build a risk assessment system for central lymph node metastasis (CLNM) in papillary thyroid microcarcinoma (PTMC) of stage cN0 and to explore its application value in clinical practice. Methods A total of 500 patients with PTMC who underwent thyroid operation from 2013 to 2015 in Ningbo First Hospital were selected as the model group. Independent risk factors related to CLNM in PTMC were analyzed and determined, and a risk assessment system for CLNM was preliminarily established. Furthermore, the clinicopathological data from 328 PTMC patients with the same conditions as the model group from 2016 to 2017 were further collected as the validation group to verify the diagnostic value of the risk assessment system. Results The risk assessment system was based on the score rating (score ≤ 5 was classified as low risk, 6–8 was classified as medium risk, and ≥9 was classified as high-risk). The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC) was 0.687 (95% CI: 0.635–0.783). According to the risk assessment system, 328 PTMC patients in the validation group were scored. Among the low-risk group, the moderate-risk group, and the high-group, 96.8%, 58.1%, and 43.2% were the CLNM (-) patients, and 3.1%, 41.9%, and 65.8% were CLNM (+) patients, respectively. The area under ROC was 0.837 (95% CI: 0.778–0.869). Conclusions The risk assessment system in this study is of diagnostic value and can provide a theoretical foundation for intraoperative decision-making of prophylactic central neck dissection (pCND).
Abstract Background The incidence of papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) has been increasing year by year, and its pathogenesis is not clear yet. The N6-methyladenosine (m6A) regulation has been proved to be related to the occurrence and development of the malignant tumors, but their expression patterns and prognostic effects in PTC remains unclear. Methods Data of 397 patients with PTC was downloaded from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database. R language was used to analyze the relationship between the expression level of m6A RNA methylation regulators and clinicopathologic in PTC. LASSO Cox regression analysis was conducted to construct the risk prediction model and the area under ROC curve (AUC) was employed to evaluate the prediction accuracy of the model. Results Seventeen genes were screened out and identified as important regulators of m6A RNA methylation. It was found that m6A RNA methylation regulators were significantly correlated with T and N stage of PTC. The prediction model consisting of IGF2BP1, YTHDC2 and YTHDF3 genes was established by LASSO Cox regression analysis. Through univariate and multivariate analysis, IGF2BP1 was found to be an independent risk factor affecting the prognosis of PTC. Conclusions The m6A RNA methylation regulators are involved in the development and progression of PTC. Furthermore, the risk signature composed of three selected m6A RNA methylation regulators can be used as potential marker to predict prognosis in PTC.

A general interface for EL display panel using small general interface is designed in this paper.I2C interface and parallel interface are used for da ta communication.The method with MCU processing Display data and CPLD producing display control signals of EL is realized.The Alternate Operate is used to con trol the data stream.The hardware configuration of the interface is introduced, and the development of the software of MCU is discussed.The production of the character stock for dotted display panel and the coding method with a look-up ta ble of limited character set is introduced at last.

The voltage-reflectance curve is given experimentally for our 90°MTN model. We outline voltage-on-state characterization of reflective display model,which is mainly used in liquid crystal on silicon(LCOS) . Study is based on the elastic theory of nematic liquid crystal and the method of Jones matrix. For the red,green and blue lights,we show the voltage-dependent reflectance of a 90° MTN model and a SCTN model. The color dispersion effect is emphasized in the voltage-on-state. The contrast ratio as a function cell gap is given for the TN-ECB-1 model and 45°MTN model,in which the voltage for dark state is 5V.
