Investigation on the Wear Resistance of TiN Gold Imitating Films

Decorative titaniam nitride gold imitating films were prepared on surface of 1Cr13 stainless steel and chromium plated brass substrates with multrarc ion plating method. In the experiment, various titanium nitride films were obtained at different conditions of technological parameters. Wear rate of the films was determined by friction tester. Relation between wear resistance of the film and preparation technological parameters was analyzed. It is found that variation of the bombardment voltage has the most important effect on the wear resistance of the titanium nitride film.

Study on Hardened Layer Depth of Steel Heated by Thermal Plasma Arc

There were three connection methods of thermal plasma arc,which were transferred arc,non-transferred arc and combined arc.The effects of different connection methods of thermal plasma arc on hardening depth of steel were studied.The experimental results show that transferred arc and combined arc have higher heating efficiency and larger hardening depth compared with non-transferred arc.But the arc stability of the combined arc and non-transferred arc with smaller orifice diameter is higher than that of transferred arc,and they are more suitable for the hardening treatment by plasma arc.

Application of Primary Devitrification Phase in Composition Design of Zr-based Amorphous Alloy

Taking primary devitrification phases(fcc-Zr2Ni) of amorphous alloy as the starting point,the composition design of Zr-based amorphous phase was studied.There is heredity in its clusters structure,fcc-Zr2Ni still retains amorphous clusters or icosahedral structure characteristics of quasicrystal.As a result,amorphous composition of multivariate Zr-based such as Zr-Al-Ni,Zr-A1-Ni-Cu,Zr-A1-Ni-Cu-Nb was designed based on cluster theory.Besides,in order to meet the needs of different fields,replacing Zr or Ni atom in Zr2Ni model with other atoms.Once the local density of state similarity between original atom and current atom is high enough,it is possible for the original atom to be substituted.The glass forming ability of that element was measured by recursive method.Finally,the designed component whether it meets the performance requirement was tested by experiment.

Microstructure and property of eutectic Al/Cu alloys synthesized by laser-induced self-propagating high-temperature synthesis

In this work,eutectic Al/Cu powder was used to prepare Al/Cu alloys by SHS-sintering(laser-induced self-propagating high-temperature synthesis).Influences of the pressing pressure,laser power and sintering time on microstructure of the sintering alloys,densification and hardness were studied by SEM,OM,XRD and Brinell′s Hardness Tester.It was found that uniformity and relative density of the sintering alloy increased with the laser power and sintering time.When the relative density of the original compacts was 85%,the sintered density could be up to 3.11 g/cm3;the highest hardness of sintered alloy was 131HB and this was at the central area.In order to estimate the sintering cooling rate of the location,the measure of secondary dendrite arm spacing is proposed.

Surface Treatments Using Plasma Nitrocarburising Combined with Post-oxidation

The surface treatments using plasma nitrocarburizing combined with post oxidation (Ion(NC+O) compound treatments) have been carried out in a self-made heat-preservation multifunction plasma furnace. The complex layer of the treated AISI 1045 steel consists of Fe 3 O 4 film, e compound layer and γ′diffusion layer. The experimental results show that the surface of the treated steel has a significant improvement in hardness and corrosion resistance. The process of Ion(NC+O) treatment is a kind of environment-friendly process.

Analysis on Corrosion Resistance of Coating Melting Plated on Steel Surface

A coating of Stellite Ni60 material,which is a commercial nickel base self melting alloy powder,was melting plated on Q235 steel surface by using thermal plasma arc.Corrosion resistance of the melting plated coating was investigated.The experimental results show that the stellite Ni60 melting plated coating possesses excellent corrosion resistance.Corrosion resistance mechanism of the melting plated coating was analysed in many aspects.

This paper studied the craft formula of chemical Ni-plating on steel.In order to get a better craft formulation on deposit speed,appearance and rigidity,referenced the former craft formula,analyzed each composition and the craft condition to sink the influence of accumulate the speed.A good craft formulation was proposed by the optimization experiment,and the external appearance of the layer,degree of hardness,thickness and sink to accumulate the speed was tested by the gold mutually microscope and the minute details of hardness to account etc.Under analyzing the influence on craft formulation,the craft formulation towards plating the influence was emphasized.

Thermal field measurement and FEA simulation of high-frequency induction heating for thin column

Thermal field of thin column for high frequency induction was exactly measured by homemade NiCr-NiAl thermocouple.It was simulated by finite element analysis(FEA) software,Analysis/Thermal.Although data got by high-performance thermocouple were credible,it was difficult to test temperature distribution around.However,FEA can cover the shortage on the experiment.The results show that data got by high-performance thermocouple is close to that through FEA.
