Social capital as a field of study has grown with many contributions from different fields. Yet, the gap within the literature regarding different contexts has inspired researchers to look for further explanations about social capital and its dimensions. Therefore, this paper aims to provide insight into the impact of social capital as a specific factor to develop commercial banks' operational performance in Erbil City, Iraq. To achieve this, a quantitative research is carried out, findings pointing to positive significant relationships between the dimensions of social capital as relational, structural and cognitive capital and operational performance development. Additionally, according to results, social capital plays a vital role in commercial banks' stability and development of operational performance.
Cybersecurity is a set of applications specialized for information and communication technology systems. Cybersecurity practices are conducted in cyberspace, and should be conducted both under the limitations and with the opportunities of this complex environment. Dynamic, totalistic, and adaptive approaches are required for cybersecurity; solely technical or financial measures would not be enough to ensure cybersecurity. Instead, a more holistic view that considers all aspects of cybersecurity would be more appropriate. In the aviation sector, where technical aspects are dominant and sensitivities are exceptionally high, it can be directly noticed that the associated complexities are heightened even further. This results in a requirement for a more concrete and detailed understanding and approach for cybersecurity in aviation. In this chapter, cybersecurity approaches and applications in aviation sector will be discussed extensively.
Recently, research on new media has grown rapidly. However, business and management research categories that focus on new media have not received much scholarly attention. To improve our understanding of the structure of this research area within other disciplines, this chapter focuses on revealing the bibliometric structure of the documents. An overview is provided in terms of the documents that are located under the business and management categories of Web of Science. This chapter reviews 62 documents with a focus of revealing descriptive outputs. Accordingly, the authors and the most relevant approaches are mapped within the field. The analysis identifies top contributors and their field of studies. Also, conceptual and intellectual structures are revealed. Findings uncover research topics and theoretical foundations of the field and how certain conversations pursue them through different conceptualizations. Building on the results, future research opportunities are also identified.
The concept of leadership is an important factor that affects the success of organizations. Digitalization and digital transformation have increased the importance of the concept of leadership in the business world. Digitalization is effective on communication and coordination and provides success in competition. Leaders should keep their leadership styles and digital knowledge up to date for corporate success. Among the characteristics that should be presented by a leader are effective communication, problem deconstruction skills, transfer of authority, and empathy. Although the concept of leadership is gender decoupled, differences arise between the distribution of male and female managers in the business world. Gender biases and social stereotypes still limit the number of women in senior leadership positions. As a solution to this situation, a gender quota is being implemented in some countries. In this chapter, the intersection between leadership, women's leadership, digitalization, and the impact of digitalization on women's leadership will be discussed.

With today's changes in war doctrines, the areas where war is undertaken are highly diversified, in addition to the traditional land, air and, sea classifications. One of these areas is cyberspace, where all the activities are waged in this field by exploiting the advantages such as accessibility, availability, cheapness, convenience, anonymity, independence from distance and defense – attack asymmetry called cyberwarfare. Cyberwarfare is the use of cyberattacks by a state or an organization to cause harm to another state's or organization's computer information systems, computer networks and computer infrastructures in the context of warfare. The rationale behind these objectives is similar to other types of warfare, as cyberwarfare is both a dimension of actual warfare and stand-alone war area. In this chapter, cyberwarfare and related phenomena will be extensively discussed.
This study aims to investigate job satisfaction and job performance relationship in a multinational company in the least developed country. This study also examines the relationship between job satisfaction dimensions and job performance of the employees. Data were collected from a sample of the leading multinational telecommunication company in Lesotho. The aforementioned relationships were tested based on correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. Although there is an extensive body of research regarding job satisfaction and job performance relationship, the research concerning the two variables in multinational companies in the least developed countries is rather few and overlooked. The results demonstrate that there is empirical support for the hypothesized relationships except for operating conditions sub-dimension of job satisfaction.
