In present to use steel structure is profitable to the
stiffness and the ratio of weight, but its cost is expensive
compared with other structure. One way for reduction of story
height and saving in building costs is perforated beam structure
system. Studies on the perforated beams are considerable
development, but the investigation of the whole behavior of
perforated beams is difficult because of experimental limits. In this paper, the structural behavior of perforated beams has
been investigated according to Data-Base.
The results of this study are as follows ;
1) Main parameters of strength reduction are ratio of M/V and
opening shape within opening height ratio 50%
2) The good ways of reinforcement are composite(plate+tube),
grid and horizontal reinforcement. Reinforced composite is by
far the better of the three.
3) Compared with theoretical values and experimental values,
theoretical values are conservative with experimental values.
