Objective To evaluate occupational hazards possibly existed in the project,provide the evidence for protective measures and suggestions.Methods According to the relevant national standards,the methods of analogy,checklist and experience were applied to evaluate the project.Results Analogical enterprise was chosen and monitoring results showed that the qualified rates of CO,SO2,CO2,benzo(a) pyrene,noise and petroleum pitch smoke were all 100%,the qualified rates of alumina dust,WBGT,power frequency electric field and magnetic field work frequency were 26.67%,33.33%,50.00% and 92.59%,respectively.Conclusion The project is a serious occupational hazard project.The occurrence of occupational diseases can be prevented,if protective measures and personal protection are strengthened.
Previous studies have suggested that matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) inhibitor uptake may offer a precise estimation of MMP activity in atherosclerotic lesions. In this study, we explored the feasibility of noninvasive detection of MMP-9 activity using technetium-99m-labeled matrix metalloproteinase-9 antibody (Tc-McAb) in vivo.ApoE-deficient (ApoE) atherosclerosis mice models (n=10) were induced through a high-cholesterol diet following ligation of their left common carotid artery. After 4 weeks, the models were verified through proton density-weighted and T2-weighted images obtained by MRI. C57BL/6 sham mice (n=8) were used as controls. In addition, normal mice (n=20) were used to characterize blood clearance. After radiolabeled McAb administration, single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) was performed. Subsequently, left common carotid arteries were harvested for ex-vivo autoradiograph imaging. Then, morphology and activity assays of MMP-9 were histologically and immunohistochemically examined.MRI showed higher signal intensities in the left common carotid arteries with irregular stenoses in the lumen of blood vessels in atherosclerosis mice models in vivo. Atherosclerotic lesions on left common carotid artery specimens were also clearly visualized using SPECT 2 h after Tc-McAb administration in vivo. Note that the radiochemistry purity of the Tc-McAb used was 85-95%. Biodistribution studies have shown that the clearance of Tc-McAb from blood was rapid. In addition, atherosclerotic lesions were clearly visualized on radioautography film shadows ex vivo.MMP-9 activities within the atherosclerotic lesions were noninvasively detected using Tc-labeled SPECT in vivo.
3D face recognition has gained increasing research attention among researchers in recent years. In comparison to its 2D counterparts, 3D face recognition systems have the potential for better recognition accuracy and robustness. In 3D face recognition, it is necessary to extract pure facial part in the point cloud to improve accuracy, which was mainly conducted manually in most previous studies. This paper proposed a fully automatic approach for 3D face point cloud preprocessing, which can extract faces in uncontrolled environments, such as large pose variations, partial occlusions and changes of expressions. Considering that 3D structure of the face can often be sensed simultaneously with color information, this paper uses color information to extract pure face part of the scan. An SVM model with skin and non-skin colors is trained and skin points in 3D facial point clouds are detected using the trained model. To fill holes on the obtained skin point cloud, This paper proposed an approach based on KNN and used a threshold to determine whether a point is on the face surface or not, such we can fulfill the holes on faces and removing outliers. Experiments show that the proposed algorithm can extract faces of different scales, poses and expressions under various illumination conditions stably and accurately.
To study the effects of continuous ultrasonic phacoemulsification performed with and without an anterior chamber maintainer (ACM) on corneal endothelial damage in patients with hard nuclear cataract.Sixty eyes in 60 patients with hard nuclear cataract (grade IV), one lesion per eye, were randomly allocated into 2 groups: continuous ultrasonic phacoemulsification with (group A) or without (group B) ACM. The intraoperative accumulated energy complex parameter (AECP), frequency of shallow anterior chamber, and postoperative corneal incision edema, corneal endothelial cell counts, and visual recovery were compared between the groups.The intraoperative AECP, postoperative corneal incision edema, and postoperative visual recovery showed no significant differences between the groups (p>0.05). At 1 month postoperatively, the corneal endothelial cell loss rate and hexagonal cell percentage (postoperative compared to preoperative) in groups A and B were 0.117 ± 0.12 and 9.97 ± 9.52% and 0.15 ± 0.73 and 8.5 ± 4.60%, respectively, with no significant difference noted (p>0.05). The endothelial cell mutation rate was significantly lower in group A than in group B at 6.41 ± 6.78% and 28.27 ± 27.95%, respectively (p<0.05). The frequency of intraoperative shallow anterior chamber was significantly lower in group A than in group B (2 vs 17 times, p<0.05).Continuous ultrasonic phacoemulsification with ACM is a safe, effective, simple, and easy method to treat hard nuclear cataract and causes minimal damage to corneal endothelial cells. It is an ideal surgical option and is worth popularizing.
To ensure sufficient air supply to tunnel digging work place thus ensure safe execution of digging work,an appropriate air duct for ventilation is selected on the basis of calculation of air volume needed.The resistance in air duct and the air leakage rate are calculated to provide basis for fan type selection.The practice shows the air duct can meet requirement of ventilation.Successful experience is referential for the issue of long distance ventilation.
In order to satisfy the design requirement of tunneling and minimize the surrounding rocks damage,the principle of smooth wall blasting technique is introduced,and combining the project instance,the design parameters of roadway in a tungsten and molybdenum mine are calculated.The results show that the blasting results depending on the theoretical calculating value of parameters are perfect,the phenomenon of roof falling and slabbing is avoided during the process of tunnel supporting.The roadway section satisfies the design requirement.
Therapeutic agents that target both tumor cell and vascular endothelial cell may achieve additional anti-tumor efficacy, particularly in lung cancer due to the critical roles of angiogenesis during lung cancer progression and metastasis. In this work, we showed that pitavastatin, a novel cholesterol-lowering drug, potently inhibited lung cancer cells and angiogenesis. This was achieved by the induction of apoptosis and inhibition of proliferation of lung cancer cells and human lung tumor-associated endothelial cell. Pitavastatin was not only effective to chemo-sensitive but also chemo-resistant lung cancer cells. This was also consistent with the finding that pitavastatin significantly enhanced cisplatin's efficacy in lung cancer xenograft model without causing toxicity in mice. We further showed that pitavastatin inhibited lung tumor angiogenesis in vitro and in vivo through suppressing human lung tumor-associated endothelial cell migration and morphogenesis without affecting adhesion. Mechanistically, we showed that pitavastatin acted on lung cancer cells and human lung tumor-associated endothelial cell through suppressing prenylation-dependent Ras/Raf/MEK and PI3K/Akt/mTOR signaling. Our work is the first to demonstrate the inhibitory effects of pitavastatin on Ras-mediated signaling. Our findings provide pre-clinical evidence to repurpose pitavastatin for the treatment of lung cancer.
To explore the effect of latent asymptomatic Toxoplasma gondii infection on glucose metabolism in brain of mice.Twenty mice were randomly divided into two groups: a Toxoplasma infected group and normal control group. The mice in the Toxoplasma infected group were inoculated with 0.3 ml of brain suspension in saline containing ten Toxoplasma gondii tissue cysts, avirulent Toxoplasma gondii Prugniaud (PRU, a Type II strain). The mice in the control group received 0.3 ml of saline orally. Six monthes after the infection, the glucose metabolism changes in the mouse brain were evaluated by MicroPET, then all the mice were sacrificed and the brain tissues were observed histopathologically.Compared with the normal controls, the infected mice demonstrated profound and widespread brain pathology, and MicroPET indicated a significant glucose metabolism reduction in the brain of asymptomatic Toxoplasma gondii infected mice.Chronic Toxoplasma gondii infection maybe results in the glucose metabolism reduction in the brain of mice.
