Tunable Lithium-Ion Transport in Mixed-Halide Argyrodites Li_6–xPS_5–xClBr_x: An Unusual Compositional Space

Argyrodites, with fast lithium-ion conduction, are promising for applications in rechargeable solid-state lithium-ion batteries. We report a new compositional space of argyrodite superionic conductors, Li6–xPS5–xClBrx [0 ≤ x ≤ 0.8], with a remarkably high ionic conductivity of 24 mS/cm at 25 °C for Li5.3PS4.3ClBr0.7. In addition, the extremely low lithium migration barrier of 0.155 eV makes Li5.3PS4.3ClBr0.7 highly promising for low-temperature operation. Average and local structure analyses reveal that bromination (x > 0) leads to (i) retention of the parent Li6PS5Cl structure for a wide range of x in Li6–xPS5–xClBrx (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.7), (ii) co-occupancy of Cl–, Br–, and S2– at 4a/4d sites, and (iii) gradually increased Li+-ion dynamics, eventually yielding a "liquid-like" Li-sublattice with a flattened energy landscape when x approaches 0.7. In addition, the diversity of anion species and Li-deficiency in halogen-rich Li6–xPS5–xClBrx induce hypercoordination and coordination entropy for the Li-sublattice, also leading to enhanced Li+-ion transport in Li6–xPS5–xClBrx. This study demonstrates that mixed-anion framework can help stabilize highly conductive structures in a compositional space otherwise unstable with lower anion diversity.

Research and Implementation of Communication between OCPP Client and Charging Station Management System

The ability to exchange information between software and hardware systems is a key factor in the development ofcharging pile systems. For a long time, the development of charging station has been seriously affected by thestandard of charging interface, a nd it has become the main obstacle to the development of charging station . In viewof the limitation of communication between charging station and backend management system, we design acommunication system between charging station and backend management s ystem based on the global opencommunication protocol standard OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol). In this paper, the framework of the chargingpoint client is built based on JavaScript language, so that the framework can run reliably and send specificcomm ands to the server. Then the charging station management system is built using the main tec hnologies such asMYSQL 5.7 database, Apache maven project building and management tools, and Java development, so that thebuilt management system can respond to th e commands sent by the client in a fast and stable manner. The verificationof the built system shows that the two ends can interact with each other quickly and reliably and respond accurately.The experiments show that the interaction framework can solve the difficulties arising from the communicationbetween charging networks today and support the interconnection between charging stations and back end systems.The framework is capable of solving various difficulties arising from the communication between private chargingnetworks and aims to support the interconnection between charging stations and backend systems, providing aneffective interaction framework for true interconnection in the future.

Medium Entropy Stabilized Disordered Lini0.5mn1.5o4 Cathode with Enhanced Electrochemical Performance

High entropy electrode materials have attracted extensive attention due to their excellent structure stability during cycling, leading to super long cycle life. However, the traditional equimolar strategy is not suitable for electrode materials if high-capacity is considered. Here, we successfully prepare LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 cathode with high stability and long cycle life, by using a multiple-element doping strategy (medium entropy). Combining differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), Raman spectra and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, it is found that Co, Cr, Al co-doped LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 (medium entropy sample) exhibits disordered structure ( ) with limited Mn3+ and enriched Al3+ on the surface, which can inhibit the dissolution of Mn2+ ions and surface side reaction. With disordered structure, the Li+ ion diffusivity in co-doped LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 is improved, leading to better rate performance. In-situ X-ray diffraction indicates mostly solid solution process in co-doped LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 and less volume change (5.4% vs. 5.8% in undoped sample) during charge-discharge. Owing to the better structure and interface stability, co-doped LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 shows excellent cycle stability, with 92% capacity retention after 500 cycles at 1C rate. Meanwhile, the specific capacity of the medium entropy sample is even increased from 132 mAh/g to 138 mAh/g, proving the advantage of medium entropy strategy in electrode materials.
