The article examines the Modern linguistics studies language from an anthropocentric perspective, as language captures all changes that occur to humans. Anthropology studies the physical and cultural development of humanity, and therefore distinguishes between physical and cultural anthropology. Physical anthropology studies the biological origin of man and his evolution. Cultural anthropology is concerned with the formation and development of human culture, and in particular, studies the way of life, mentality, national character, and spiritual, social, and labour activity. The verbal expression of reality varies from nation to nation, which is due to the specific historical and social conditions of their development.
Cognitive stylistics stands out for its unique methodology, in which linguistic analyses in a systemic context are based on theories that link linguistic choices to cognitive structures and processes. Cognitive stylistics is a subsection of linguistics that studies the relationship between language and cognitive processes such as perception, comprehension, remembering and thinking. It aims to identify how cognitive mechanisms influence linguistic phenomena such as text structure, choice of linguistic devices, use of metaphors, metonymy and other linguistic techniques.
The concept of holistic perception of a speech or literary work does not exclude paying attentive attention to its individual elements. Because words are the fundamental unit of language, it is critical to consider their notion and meaning. A word in a language is a polysemantic rule, which implies that it contains several lexicosemantic variants via which it may be understood in one of its meanings. Each individual lexico-semantic variant's lexical meaning is a complex unity.
Scholars in the field of cognitive linguistics argue that its fundamental principle is the relationship between language and cognition. Currently, cognitive linguistics investigates the relationship between language and consciousness, the role of speech and thinking activity in conceptualising and cognising the world, and the relationship between human cognitive abilities and language. The notions of “concept” and “discourse” significantly shape the character of modern linguistics, including cognitive linguistics. The study of discourse as an abstract model of language activity becomes a fruitful method for revealing high-level concepts reflecting knowledge about the world and language in consciousness.

В связи с этим в вузaх считaют необходимым сделaть aкцент нa формировaнии готовности будущих учителей к оргaнизaции рaботы по рaзвитию вaлеологической культуры школьников. In the article, the authors believe that the establishment of a healthy lifestyle for the younger generation is today considered in the practice of schools and universities as one of the priority directions of the humanization of education. A special status is given to the concept of “valeological culture”, the significance of the formation of which, as exemplified by younger schoolchildren, is due to the need to preserve and improve their physical, mental and social well-being. The authors state that health and physical capacity are a condition and basis for the disclosure of a person’s potential. The real lifestyle of a person subsequently depends on how successfully it is possible to form and consolidate the foundations of valeological culture and the skills of a healthy lifestyle at a young age. In this regard, it is believed that in universities it is necessary to pay special attention to the formation of the readiness of future teachers to organize work to develop the valeological culture of schoolchildren. The authors offer a number of important ideas in this direction, give a description of the method of work.
