Abstract An efficient eco-friendly synthesis of 4-aryl tetrazolo[1,5-a][1,8]naphthyridine derivatives have been successfully prepared through microwave method in short reaction time. The microwave method has unique advantages, short reaction time, easy workup procedure, and simple purification of the products. Synthesized the entire molecule evaluated for their antimicrobial activity among them compounds 6g and 6a demonstrated highest anti-microbial activity. Moreover, in silico molecular modeling evaluation has done by considering docking scores, hydrogen bond interactions, affinity, and the short distance between ligand and receptor. All the molecules good docking results have shown that binding interactions with the target protein and obtained results were well complemented to the antimicrobial activity.
