The proposed system provides a complete solution for fault prediction with suggested fixes, accurate position tracking, automated real-time streetlight fault detection, and an effective maintenance strategy. For both general city beauty and public safety, street lighting functionality is essential. Our technology makes use of the Internet of Things (IoT) to continuously monitor streetlights in real-time and quickly identify problems through machine learning. Every streetlight has sensors installed that can detect abnormalities instantly and provide information to a central control system for prompt defect finding. By ensuring a responsive and effective system, this method shortens the period between defect discovery and repair. The system's ability to provide accurate geographic information, offer remedies for errors that are recognized, and help maintenance workers locate and resolve problems more rapidly are some of its important features. By integrating geographic data, maintenance operations are directed and efficient, reducing downtime and improving system reliability overall. This study explores the technical features of the sensor-based system and highlights how effectively it functions as a reliable and straightforward option for regions trying to enhance their maintenance procedures for streetlights

Probabilistic neural network approach to alleviate sparsity and cold start problems in collaborative recommender systems

Collaborative Recommender system helps the online users to identify the right product during electronic purchasing. The collaborative recommender system identifies the similar users based on the purchasing or rating behavior to the active user and then recommends the product based on the similar users. Collaborative recommender system is widely used in majority of the existing online recommender system such as orkut, google, amazon, walmart etc. Besides it popularity, is suffers due to sparsity, cold start and scalability recommender system. Extensive research is going on to overcome these problems. In this paper, Probabilistic neural network (PNN) is used to calculate the trust between users based on rating matrix. Using the calculated trust, sparse rating matrix is smoothened, by predicting the rating values of the nonrated items in the rating matrix. Using this smoothened rating matrix, the trust is calculated for online active users. The calculated trust is used to recommend product. Experiments are conducted using dataset such as movielens. Based on the performance metrics, it is proved that the proposed method performs better than the benchmark and some existing systems.

Now a days in Forensics, Radiology or Imaging plays a major role in identification of criminal and civilproceedings. Why Radiology here means, it is making bit sensible that to analyze the bony structures likeskeletal remains and other body parts. The main aim of the manuscript is to unite the two disciplines inone part majorly “Radiology and Forensics”. The forensic application of diagnostic medical radiology canbe applied in many fields; the prime target of evaluation is the osseous skeleton, but soft tissues whichmay offer several key findings. Essential, methods consist of radiological methods such as conventionalradiography, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging, but other techniques such as 2D and3D surface scanning along with printing are also employed.
